How do you get your milk? I know some European countries it comes in tetra packs that you can leave on the shelf for months on end.

Yeah. Most of it is pasteurized and in 1-liter Tetrapacks. Long shelf life means less waste.
In France and Belgium you get a lot more mild in awful plastic bottles for some reason though.

It seems strange for a North American, but by the end of my stay in Belgium, I kind of liked Tetrapack milk. It has a creamier taste.
