A book like that could be published, but you'd need an excellent legal advisor to take care of the royalties and stuff. Would probably be expensive, too. Then there's still the risk of them thinking you are destroying the characters: you'd have to first submit the story itself, and it might be subject to changes.
So all in all: make it a parody on the internets. Easier, more fun and the free publicity might bring you enough commission work to make it more interesting financially.
