I actually have a mug that big. It's supposed to be used as a soup mug, but I use it for tea and cocoa instead.

In France. It's traditionally used for the café-au-lait (coffee with a shot of milk. To get the true experience, put marmelade on a baguette and dunk it in!). It's like a bowl, but with a handle and 100% Cervelet aprooved.
