"Hey you...what year is it?!"

"Year two thousand two hundred and twenty two."

"BC or AD?"

"The hell are those?"

"I'm in the f**king past."

*Quoted from Team Four Star's Episode of Bardock. If you get the reference...good for you...no one cares.

Can a 1989 Ford Fiesta do 88 mph?

88 kph I can imagine.

in metric that'd be 141 km/h, which is pretty much the fastest you can go with that car on a flat surface. I reached 170 km/h (german Autobahn! woooh) once as the road went downwards AND I had backwind.

So yes, can do ^^

(what's a kph anyway? A kakapo per hour?)

Kilometers per hour, but yeah. Silly me. The fastest I've traveled in a car was on the autobahn in my cousin's VW Jetta VR6, 135 mph (it was a US-spec car he bought from an American soldier).
I also have a ride-along video of said car on the Nurburgring Nordschleife but sadly I can't share it because in-car videos aren't allowed on the 'Ring during Touristenfahrten.

217 km/h then. that a but horrifyingly fast, actually XD

(of course, it would be terrifying in an old fiesta. these shake everywhere when you reach 170 km/h. The old one even shaked at 130 km/h: at 160 km/h, the seat shaked like hell too. over 200 km/h in that thing would probably take it apart as you drive, on the other hand in my father's SUV 160 km/h feel slow, speed sensation really is relative to comfort. I like my cars uncomfortable. I feel like I'm ALWAYS fast.)

You don't know? Why don't you know? Wait.... is it the past? Do you not have a Gregorian calendar yet? Or maybe it's the future, and you don't know how to say it in simple words. Or maybe you simply don't know!

I just wonder, if you shall do small details touches in the next image that mean things are largely the same, but somewhat show that time has taken place between filming (read, when this happened in the BttF films).

The calendar of her world might not be the same in this world, and so their years could be different. It's surprising she hasn't taken the time to learn our calendar yet.
