Poor 2D... I know we like to see him all cute and happy but he's been through so much. Can't imagine what torments him on a daily basis...
Inspired by one of my favorites from The Fall. God this song gives me too many emotions....

I sort of mixed his designs from multiple phases here, but I imagine this is a pretty young 2D, phase 1-2
And yes, the painting behind his head is a reference.

Thank you so much! *blush* The colors are what I started with and they were a challenge since I'd never really done sunrise-sunset lighting before.
(2 jobs, school, and no time makes for little art)
And yeah...that background isn't the best, one of the reasons I gave this one a background like this was for practice. I'm crap at backgrounds, so practice practice. Learned a lot T-T
