Yes, I was surprised myself when I heard it. I was actually watching "behind the scenes" on what of my TT seasons and they were like, "Unlike the comics,it's set in California."
I was like, "Wait, What?!?"
And the writer of TT comics was like, "I don't know why we didn't set it in California rather than New York, it makes so much more sense xD"
