I got the idea after that "Double Date" episode in TTG! I know it's just a kids show with silly jokes, but I like to look for a deeper meaning to things (even though it might not be intentional. HA).
I figure the voice in Robin's head is kind of ...bad for him. I mean he said it himself... HE SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THE VOICE IN HIS HEAD! All these negative thoughts about self worth and what not is why he acts so crazy and superior to others. The only good thoughts he might have are of Starfire, but even then... the voice seems to belittle it.
....OR YOU CAN TAKE IT AS THE NARRATOR AND STARFIRE HAVING A MOMENT. I DON'T KNOW. xD What would you call that ship anyways?

I feel like I can really relate to this piece. I have anxiety, and part of it has to do with the girl I like. (I'm a female bisexual and my parents don't know and wouldn't approve.) I can really relate with this because I often think "Your parents would hate you for liking Minh. Minh's too good for you. Minh is probably heterosexual. You will never have a chance with her."
I know you may not have meant to make this so easy to relate to, but thank you. It is very nice to see that at least Robin and I have something somewhat in common.
