Description
This prompt was a good excuse to draw a map of part of my fantasy world. I kinda fell into a rabbit hole when I looked up how to ink maps. So for now this is a first version. I definetly need an updated version later on with all the names. But for now most places have no name because i always struggl coming up with names a lot.

Geography/history rambling incoming:
On this map you can see the territory of the Twin Empire which is loosely based on the Roman Empire. The people prayed to the Twin Brother gods. (Yeah, yeah, not so creative...) But at some point both gods started to get into a seemingly unsolvable argument with each other and that was also the moment when the empire broke apart into 2, one on the West continent and the other on the East continent. Other parts of the world now call them jokingly the Broken Empire. The Western part is very prideful and sees themselves as the true people as they still have the main capital of the old empire (purple dot on the West continent). But their economy became very bad and at some point the government began to sell convicts to get money (ironically mostly to their rival, the East continent, as they got money and need a lot of cheap workforce) and it sadly developed into a bigger system so that the moment you publicly fall from grace you have to assume you will be sold as slave. Vito's family originally was a wealthy merchant family from the old capital until they got caught in a political plot and Vito and his older brother were sold off as slaves to the East continent.
On the East continent the empire thinks itself superior to the West continent as their economy and political power is much bigger. They happily buy all the slaves they can get from the West continent. They have a system that if a slave worked hard and long enough they can buy their freedom. Vito got sold in the new capital (red dot on the East continent) to his master who teaches him black magic in a small town in the north (the blue dot).
There are a lot of local cultures and smaller gods which got incorporated after conquest but the history got changed so that those smaller gods supposedly always served the Twin gods. To the very east next to the mountains, the Lost Forest is located. The people of the empire would really like to chop down those trees for their economic needs but in the forest lives a very old and powerful druid who protects the forest and does not allow any harm to a single tree. The mountains to the very east are not part of the empire anymore. (Even though the empire likes to claim otherwise) There are people living in the mountains but they got lucky that their terrain is not easy for conquering. To the south-east, the empire build a stronghold to fend off invaders.
The 2 empires are fighting over every single island which is located on the sea between them like a divorcing couple. But as the East continent is more powerful they managed to get the influence over the majority of the islands. Both of them have a long term goal of being reunited again but of course both of them have different conception of how the reunification would look like.
The green island in the south is the place where Luam lives and it is actually independent. In the past, there were several attempts to conquer it as it has lots of ressources but all conquest attempts failed so far. It is said that the very nature itself is fending off attackers. Be it ships being stopped of previously unknown shoals. (Many sailors swear that they were not there before) or people on undercover missions being overwhelmed by thorny vines. Travellers who are new in this region will be confused how there can be a green paradise on that island as all other islands around it are drough areas with no life on it. Also sailors claim that they never encountered rain there.
