Oh jeez, somewhere circa twenty hours. About an hour or two to pencil and then the rest is all ink. I've gotten faster now that I've started using brushes to fill the wider black areas, but this one was back when I used the pens for everything.

Yeah, I draw w/ .005 but for filling I used to use the 08. I'm a control freak, every little waver of lines in these things is intentional and I was worried that switching to brush for the filler would lose some of that control and negatively influence the piece.
And yes, I realize how anal retentive that is >.< :-P *But* I took the leap and went for progress as opposed to control, been experimenting with different tools for different effects instead of staying in my comfort zone & the result's been beneficial, at least I think so.

Wow Charlie...this looks absolutely amazing! I love the expressions on their faces. I'm not a huge fan of the tentacles but that's just because they scare me lol!
