Description
This is a pencil work in progression. I used, as reference, one of his photoshoots, as many of us do, but thought I would give him more hair at the finish.
Oh, and I will be fixing his eye. Oops!

Michael Jackson can't even get rest even after his demise. He's continuously being made fun of, and exploited in any way lowly insensitive people can conjur up. So, I recall my childhood night prayer, and decided to title this drawing, inspired by the words of the prayer. I was surprised to find that there are many different versions of this prayer, but here is the one I was taught.

Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the lord my soul to take
And this I ask for Jesus' sake
Amen
