...huh boy. I think I should explain something here, huh? E-heh. You can partially blame my fever/illness for this thing. On Monday I bought Moulin Rogue 2 CD since I watched the movie on Sunday. The next morning (Monday) I watched Ed Edd 'n Eddy's Hanky Panky Hallabaloo Valentine Special. You know the one, where May and Double D end up being sickeningly sweethearts. Course throughout the show's duration, May's been the Kanker whose had her eyes firmly placed on 'Big Ed'. Heck who can blame her? Either way, this one she realised 'Big Ed hates me!' jee, it took her this long? After a Summer full of Ed screaming "GIRL GERMS!" and such?

But still - some episodes, when he's encountered the Kankers he hasn't exactly looked as disgusted as his friends have. He even looks love sick in the one about the tire for a boat. I know you guys know I'm an Ed/Edd girl, but on the other side of the fence I see Ed/May working somewhat. Or at least him feeling something. We all know Ed's pretty dumb, that's an understatement if ever there was one. But maybe Ed has been feeling something for May, but being the stupid prebubecent teenager he is, he just might not understand it at all. Who can he talk to, really? His friends would be repulsed at the idea he might be liking May. And Ed isn't a guy to jepordize his friendship with Eddy and Double D.

So in my head, in the Valentine Episode Ed just stood back and spotted Double D and May together - unsure of what this feeling he had throughout the whole day. Is he angry about what's happening, is he relieved? Honestly his mind just CAN'T make up it's mind what he feels. So the image idea came to me of Ed just being over wraught with emotions by the end of the day that when he's alone he finally succumbs to these things and breaks down. The song 'Tango Del Roxanne' (or whatever the title is, I'm too tired to look it up and please just don't comment to tell me what the real title is) from Moulin Rogue felt pretty fitting. Ed witnessed a lot of loving glances, holding hands and whatnot for him to get those feelings. So I took about the task of drawing 3 scenes from the episode. The art class, the gym, and the lunchroom. I couldn't really get a 'lips caress your skin' thing, but he 'n May were pretty touchy in the gym so I used that.

So yes. Unshaded since.. oh come on now. I'm sick - but I have saved the psd so if I ever want to I will shade it. But for now it's simple block colours. My style Ed is too much fun to draw, it's almost scary. His jacket is almost a spitting image of my own. Only mine's black.

So yup. Thats all I guess. Man I rant.
