Alt Title - Can we go home?
I wanted to properly show Mirai's perspective of the battle aftermath so here we are.

(TRIGGER WARNING (please be cautious))
Mirai felt her heart twist at the sight of the sun rising over the mountain tops. The sky itself morphed into beautiful oranges and purples that danced against the once dark sky. The night after the battle was sleepless. She couldn't get the images, the smells, the sounds; out of her head. The screeches of injured cats, the stench of iron, and her own blood-soaked paws. Her home was lost to the hole that remained. The safety of the valley lost to the tyrants that the tribe cats had vanished, but their spirit remained.
The gray tabby she-cat took steps outside of camp, the air was clear despite the recent rain. With the banishment of the Magus tribe and Noctain the sun had finally cast its rays on valley soil once again. The once familiar land felt horribly unknown and Mirai was scared. What would happen now? The valley didn't even feel like home anymore, it felt distant. The shadows the trees cast on her cool gray body felt judgmental and foreign. She wanted Her old home back not this shell it had become.
Her legs carried beyond the camp, beyond the Kine River to a hill that rose far higher on the land. From here She could easily see the outlines of the mountain much clearer. The sun had just about peeked its head above the high-rise of their rocky peaks. Mirai sat down on the dewy grass, letting the morning sun heat her fur. With all this violence will the Tribes ever be the same? How could they be safe knowing that a terrible creature had the ability to hurt their goddess? Yes, he was put to sleep deep in the earth below them, but she knew it wouldn't last long. Eventually they would be forced to face him again. What monstrosities will they be faced to fight then?
More importantly, how will her family survive? Carey had lost a life in the battle. How can he possibly believe that he would be okay? There's no possible way that he could fight now with him being so close to death! Mirai took short breaths, her eyes widening. He can't leave her! She couldn't live without him! He's the only father figure she's ever had, the only parental figure she'd ever known- Mirai gasped for breaths. The light from the sun had gotten much brighter and the oxygen around her seemed to have fled. Her front legs gave out and she barely managed to catch herself on shaky paws. Ugly hot tears rolled down her cheeks as she struggled for air, "I-I can't." She sobbed, claws digging up the soil at her paws, "P-P-Please d-don't leave m-me!" She closed her eyes, she was taking pathetic gasps for breath. Her body trembled and her tail was shot straight.
A sudden paw brought her back caused to flinch, "Mirai? Is that really you- Hey! Breathe." A calming voice had spoken so softly, she opened her eyes but the world was too bright, "Breathe with me, 1, 2, 3-" The voice was commanding but low, who was this? The paw had moved to her's and held it tightly, "Keep breathing with me, your doing fine- 1, 2, 3." She struggled to breathe with the voice, hers shaky and uncertain compared the composed and strong ones accompanied with the voice.
Her breathing had finally evened out enough for her to take deep breaths, the oxygen came back and the light seemed to dissipate. She opened her eyes to look to the sun, she was, she was here. "Your alright, just keep breathing, Mirai." The voice spoke at a more normal tone and it sounded relived. Her head turned and her heart stilled, she spoke, her voice quivering and almost silent, "N-Naveen?"

" 'Cause I know a place we could go
No one has been there, and no one will know
There it is quiet, forget the violence
You've tried so hard to ignore
Oh, I know a place we could go
Unpack our bags and we'll call it a home
The sea will sing our minds to sleep
I know a place we could go
And once we get there we could stay
An old shaky house, our lives would be made
And I don't know all the answers
But you look like December
There we could stay
I'm tired of fear
Grasping for safe, familiar
You are like me, oh, could we leave? "
