A stupid doodle from about a month ago. I ended up using a mouse for about half of it since I didn't feel like waiting for my vm to boot again. Krory is there for good measure I guess. C:

Sorry for ruining this for Lavi fans. Actually, no. Allen is more popular than Lavi. Just because Lavi has more drawings of him doesn't mean he is more popular. Not every artist that draws a character is a fan of that character or likes that character. You have searched Allen by his full name too. In some deviations he is referred only by his first name (or in some his name is not mentioned at all). I missed a lot of drawings, because just like you I searched him by his full name. You can't determine the popularity of the characters based on the numbers that the search engine shows you. I know it might not be a goodΒ measure for characters' popularity but in this site, Allen has more than 1600 members in his fan-club (which has the most members among Allen's fan-clubs), but for Lavi, the number is about 1200. In every poll (in Japan or not), he always has more votes than Lavi. Actually this is Kanda that may be more popular than Allen. I like Allen and Lavi, but if I have to choose between them, I'll choose Allen without any hesitation. As you see my favorite character in D.Gray-man is Allen Walker (Lavi is the second), but I'm no artist, so I can't increase the amounts of drawings about him. Β
In FanFiction.Net, he has more fan-fictions than Lavi (more than twice) or Kanda. Actually more than half of the fan-fictions in D.Gray-man section and quite a few fan-fictions in that section which don't label any character are about Allen. If searching deviants in here is a measure for characters' popularity, I use the amounts of FanFictions to measure their popularity.
