A wonderful whimsical piece! I love the magical setting & I love the concept.
As it is now, the cool blues & greys project quite a sombre mood. I think this can work in a children's book if it were illustrating a sad scene. Personally, I'd like to play up the humorous & fantastical elements of the story, so holding back on the greys & blacks would help achieve this.
Otherwise, I'd suggest to add a rainbow of colours to the bubbles, because they're melting away into the background (I didn't notice them at first).
Your style & textures are beautiful. I can never hope to paint like you!

I understand why you suggest to holding back on greys and blacks but I don´t know how to fix it without drawing everything again. I will keep it in mind for the next picture. However, I can try to improve the bubbles.

Please don't feel you have to go back & change anything! To me, the dark shades project a sombre mood, but that doesn't make the piece weak by any means. The story you tell in it is very strong.
Whether or not it was the mood you wanted to convey, I hope that knowing my views would aid your decision making for new paintings
But yes, if you have the time, work those bubbles!

This is really beautiful, I love the concept and your painting style and colors are awesome. It's pretty simplistic but in a endearing way, and it's obvious you put work into it. The only thing I could suggest would be to add more variants in light and value otherwise awesome job!
