It's the Deadly Duo of Knights of the Old Republic. Their previous history was chronicled in the KOTOR comic book series, which took place before the games. Before they became Sith Lords, they were the Revanchist and Alek, two Jedi warriors whose delusions of grandeur almost doomed the Republic.
