It's almost as if Wendip fell off the face of the earth. Even non shippers of Wendip didn't ignore it completely because it was still cannon! Dippica isn't even cannon! A few smiles and one friendly hug Pacifica paid Dipper to forget caused from excitement of being alive doesn't say anything! (Not that I'm anti Dippica. Just wondering what killed Wendip.)

You real need to read that section in Journal 3 where Dipper is writing about Pacifica after the Northwest Mansion Mystery. PS Wendip didn't become cannon Dipper seemed to get over he's obsession with Wendy at the end of the series and they just seemed to become close friends after that.
