Part of my comedy concept based of "The Wizard of OZ". I have this picture in my head we're the new wizard of Oz, a young boy, and Mari the tiger run into a cave to escape a storm. There they find what they think is and old iron oven, so they start a fire in it. Well it turns of to be the big guy Ed.Related content

I love the story concept! But before I read it, I was struck by the atmosphere of this picture. It looks so sad and sensitive... I want to hug Ed, even though he may not actually be unhappy. It just looks like he feels utterly depressed and defeated.
I love the shine on his shoulder.

Well the Idea behind Ed is that he needs fire in his body in order to live. He is a self sustaining creature, hhe eats wood, coal, anything that burns. But that also means he can stave and become inactive. When he's active he's a lighted fellow with tremendous power, a real gental giant type. I also have a story explaining why there are so many robot-like people in oddz. Want to here it?

Well the new wizard has a journal left from his great grandfather, the first Wizard of OZ. In it, it tells the story of a king who's son died. Heart broken he proclaimed that the greatest minds of OZ should find a way to make man impervous to death. Mechanical people were ideal because they could be easily fixed. Thus this guy was made [link] A happy creature at first, the prince never aged or died. Sadly he had to watch everyone he's ever loved grow old and die, making him bitter and distant to the rest of the inhabitants of OZ.
