Moth Cute Attack! O_O I was doodling and my character Rianth somehow came out of it, prolly because he is really brightly colored and fun to draw, well at least as a commet-moth guy.
I like his feathery antennae things. XD

now what would the anatomy be for him without the shirt, or any human body with extra arms? i can never guess what it would be. would it be pecs on pecs, or shoulders just randomly comming out of his side? i have no idea!

Rianth looks adorable! I can just imagine his little fuzzy antennae quivering with curiousity or pricking with interest like any energetic child's expression. I didn't realise moths could be so brightly coloured - I always thought they tended towards tree-bark-y colours so they could be all stealthy and blend in.

Many species of moths are brightly colored and prettier than butterflies even. Most saturniids (wild silk moths) and sunset moths are good examples.

This is a dayflying species, and very solar in coloration, so I thought it was perfect for him.

Heheh I have had several big ones (6+ inch wingspan) land directly on or near me before, but I think they are cute. This species (Argema Mittrei) is the size of a bird and some can almost get a foot long....
