Its lonely at the top and Shortcake knows that feeling. Online Shortcake is a well known and beloved cosplay influencer with thousands of followers and a good enough reputation to where she's done photo shoots with popular fashion brands, but offline is a different story. Shortcake has always struggled with making friends as she's mostly locked in the house due to her medical disorder. Snails are able to secrete a natural mucus that keeps their skin hydrated and fresh but for Shortcake that's incredibly difficult as she was born with a disorder which stops her body from making it naturally and keeps her stuck in side on dry/hot days. That and she can be a bit of a diva and has let fame go to her head as of late causing the few friends she did have to back out of the friendships after being lashed out at and to no ones surprise this hurts Shortcake. Still she keeps up her happy face on her social media and doesn't let it show, except to her rival Sugar Rush.
While Sugar Rush isn't popular at all Shortcake is envious of the way she's able to easily make friends and do fun photo shoots with them of which Shortcake wishes to join in with, but Shortcake hasn't yet realized that and instead has formed a deep hatred for Sugar Rush to the point of starting drama with her and claiming Sugar Rush stole her ideas online just to make herself feel better.
