Description
At the Foot of the Nishizawa Tower…Sora immediately skids to a stop and drives out of Wisdom form, looking a bit exhausted.
"How could someone like Omimi exactly get far on her own?" He asked the white plumed duck after catching his breath.
"Well, we know that she came here before, and besides, even we were a bit lost trying to find her and that's not surprising considering that this is our first time at this world." Donald explained. "Maybe we should head back and ask for help trying to find her, Sora."
The brunette just gave a sigh before replying, "Yeah, maybe you're right. We'll have better luck if we had anyone who knows this place helping us."
But as the two began to retreat back Donald stopped for a moment and looked up to the tower and muttered, "Huh, I wonder who or what owns this tow…WAAAK!!" He squawked with alarm, causing both himself and Sora to jump a bit before the brunette looking at the duck. "Sora, up there!!" The white plumed duck said, pointing up to the top as –Escape Velocity 127- starts playing.
At the top of the tower, a figure wearing the Organization's black coat is seen. The figure seemed to be looking down to the two from the top as he suddenly jumps off from the top and dives right for two. Sora and Donald suddenly gave startled looks as the member begins to pick up speed until the last moment he flips upright and produces two energy wings, identical to the one Giroro and Pururu used from their devices. He then gently floats to the ground and as soon as he landed, the wings disappear. "You…you're a member of Organization XIII!" Sora said, looking surprised but now sounding angered (of course, unaware of the how he landed safely). "But that's impossible- Kululu said that Pekopon- I mean Earth- isn't connected to the worlds! How did you even get here?!"
The member seemed to of not gave a single word. He just gave a bit of an empty stare that lasted for at least a minute, with the boy and duck at the looking a bit nervous before the older man replys, in a familiar deep authority-filled voice, "I came here via starship. Despite the coat, I am not a member of this 'Organization XIII'- I only wear the coat to throw them off."
"Huh? Wait, so you're wearing their coat for the same reason as those two tadpole kids?" Donald asked as he and Sora stepped into a defensive stance, just in case.
"If you are talking about Private Third Class Omnini, and New Recruit Omimi, then yes." The man answered, causing the Brunette and the white plumed duck to look to each other.
"Hey, you don't think that he's…" Sora began to say to the duck… before a thought occurred to him, faced the man, and said, "Alright, if you know Omnini and Omimi, then you must know their birthdays, right?"
"Omnini, May 4th. Omimi, November 22nd." The man quickly answered. "Those are directly from their military records of the two and the fact that I know because Omnini told me one time."
"Yep, that's what I thought…you're a Keronian, aren't ya?" Sora said while easing up his defense a bit with a cheeky look as the music fades out. "Otherwise, there would've been no way for you to know about those two!"
"…For a Keybearer, you seem a bit knowledgeable- and odd for asking me a weird question." The male said as he removes his hood to show his face. His face showed some adult facial features with the skin color more tanned compared to Sora, with light purple hair. Part of his bangs help to frame the face while some close to the nose, falling on the left side (when facing behind him). He wears a yellow Visor in front of his red eyes. He then brings out a dark purple keron styled hat with a triangular shaped rim attached to it and a red upside down 'A' with a line going downward, toward the center. After putting it on, he makes the rim go down in front of his eyes partially, making them look like a glare. When the two heroes see the appearance of the male, Sora did a bit of a take and then made a mental note comparison as a flashback occurs…
Flashback: Between transport between Disney Castle and Pekopon; Giroro's Room.
Sora picked up the photo containing Giroro, who is saluting in the picture, Giroro's Father, who is grinning, and Garuru, who was oddly enough pulling a bit of a rabbit ear gag on Giroro. "Hey, what's this?" The male asked.
Giroro, who was in the room cleaning his guns replied, "That's a photo of my family before my departure to Pekopon, over 7 years ago. The photo is of me, my father, and my older brother, Garuru."
"Your brother? You mean the purple one?" The Brunette guessed.
"That's a bit of a lucky guess for you, keybearer." The red Keronian said. "Yeah, the purple one in the picture is my brother. As I said, his name is Garuru, but his Rank in the Keron army is First Lieutenant and one of the army's most talented Snipers. He's also the leader of the Garuru Platoon, making him Pururu's leader. You already know about the Platoon's rank grading as well."
"Despite what he's doing in the photo, he MUST be tough…" The keybearer replied before calling the corporal out on what he called him. "And hey, I have name you know, and it's Sora!"
"I know your name is Sora, kid." The Corporal said, being a bit rough on him. "You're still a bit young to be considered a warrior in the battlefield. You can't get all good with your skills in one day, and unless you gain my respect, Keybearer or Kid is the only names that I will call you by."
Sora couldn't have helped to but to cross his arms to think…before a thought occurred to him; "Hey, what about if I can beat your brother, Garuru?" He said. "You know- one-on-one, in a battle?"
The red frog gave a bit of a take before replying, "Are you planning to have a death wish, kid?" Giroro stood up, albeit looking angered. "Unless you know what you're doing and have plan, it will be pretty much be incredibly tough to take him on in fair combat. At your skill level you probably won't last long against him, and I bet he's bound to go easy on you."
"Why would you say that?" The brunette asked. "I know that you do know him, being you are his little brother." He then asked, with a slightly angered, if not, annoyed tone, "But why would you say that he'll go easy on me?"
The corporal crossed his arms and said, "You're obviously important to the worlds' survival, and you saved the worlds once. But have you noticed that you're actually weaker than you were before you saved the worlds?" At that moment, the male keybearer took the words the corporal said into consideration, and let him continued. "You told us that you were asleep and everything that transpired before our meeting with you. What happened to your endurance? What about your abilities and your magic based talents? I can guess that since you were asleep for almost a year, it would be no wonder that you had less endurance- you had just awakened, so it could take a while for you to get your endurance back. And then it was about what you said, about entering a strange castle and the next thing you remember happening next, is that you awakened in Twilight Town. It was as if you memory was wiped clean from you saw from within the castle, that included your magic knowledge, and your abilities. If you had your powers and abilities from back then right now, there you would've stood a chance against Garuru, even if he is going all out. But where you stand right now, you won't stand a ghost of a chance, especially if he were to go 'easy'."
Sora gave a sweat drop upon hearing what devil red keronian said and replied, "You…do have a point." He then gave a bit of a sigh before a thought occurred to him; "Hey, did you ever beat your own brother?"
"…Once, I did. However, that story is for another time." Giroro said choosing to remain quiet than to explain it to him.
"Aw c'mon!" Sora complained. "Could you at least explain or drop a hint?"
Present Time…
"You're First Lieutenant Garuru- Giroro's older brother!" Sora said as realized who the male is.
"Wak?" Donald quacked with confusion.
"...Heh, Giroro must've told you about who I am, right?" 'Garuru' replied after giving a bit of a smirk.
"Yeah, I sort of asked after seeing a photo of him, you and your dad." Sora explained truthfully. "He said that you're one of the best Snipers in the whole Keron Army. But, what are you doing here?"
"Mhm. I was also asked to enter the worlds as well, by King Mickey." Garuru said before bringing out the letter into view. "I simply waited for you here on Pekopon."
"Huh?! You too?" Donald said before running up to the human keronian. He takes the letter, returns back, and then brings out another one from Keroro and the others before comparing the two.
Sora seemed to be intrigued by the letter before walking up to the white plumed duck that seemed to be studying the letters. After the two were done looking at the letters and quickly skimmed through the letters' contents, both of them realize that they are identical- with the letters intended address and receivers the only things that are different. "So the King asked you to help out too, like Keroro and the others?" Sora asked the Lieutenant.
"Correct. But in my case, I have one request before I join you on your journey..." The First Lieutenant asked before he glows in a purple light. He then appeared to of shrunk down to Keronian size before the light wears off, showing him in his original keronian form while the hood is still off. He then tosses off the Organization jacket the same way Omnini and Omimi did to show his form also changed, with his current form identical to the one in the photo. He then summons a white peg-like handle, with pinkish-red energy-like blade identical to the ones used by at least Giroro and Keroro into his hand. "I want you to fight me, one-on-one. I want to see how skilled you are with the Keyblade with my own eyes."
"Huh?!" Sora blurted out in surprise. Did he seriously just get called out, and by Giroro's older brother no less?
"Aaaah, no!" Donald yelled out. "We don't have time to fight right now- we still have to find Omimi- she ran away after what happened earlier!"
"I heard of what happened when I keyed into the Keroro Platoon's communications system. I have to agree with you. However…" The Lieutenant said to have the two group members look at each other, and then back to the officer of the army. "You're actually the 6th keybearer I have met, and the 4th one that's generally good. I wanted to battle you, because I want to see how strong you were compared to the other three we have met previously. In other words, this battle is important to see how well your skills stand if you're on your own. But because we are looking for Omimi- we'll make this battle short before we lose track of her."
Sora and the king's court magician looked to each other before they assumed a defensive stance. "Don't worry- with me and Donald fighting together, we'll make this quick." The brunette said.
"I admire your spirit, but this battle has a different rule in mind." The purple male Keornian said to have the two look on with confusion. "It has to be one-on-one. This is based Sora's skill alone with no use for Sora's Drive ability. Donald, I suggest that you continue looking for Omimi while we have a battle."
Donald started to get steamed and yelled "Hold on a second- we don't have time to mess around! We have to find Omimi- we can do this fight later!!"
Sora crossed his arms to think for a moment, before an idea struck him. "Actually, I have an idea. Me and Garuru might have that fight after all!" The male admitted with the keron and duck looking at the boy. The brunette then pulled up a communications device. "Kululu, come in- I think we got a plan on leading Omimi out to the open."
"Ku ku ku! We're all ears here, Sora." The Sergeant Major replied via communicator.
After a couple of minutes…
"Good idea." Garuru admitted. "By fighting each other, Omimi might actually see this and mistake this as real and will try to stop it. Either that or try to watch it in a place in secret."
Keroro Platoon's Base: Kururu's Room
"That kid could believe anything if the distance is far enough." Kululu said while lounging back on his chair. "You'll also have to make the fight quite believable too. Otherwise, she might not go for it. Ku ku!"
"Okay, so in other words, we actually have to fight." Sora said on the other line. "Kululu, we're counting on you on telling the others!"
"Already taken care of- I had the speakers explain your plan to everyone that's in base. The Hinatas, Giroro, and Atlanta are the only ones who don't know about it." The curry colored Keronian replied. "It's not their fault that the latter two were handling
something off site that they couldn't hear the news. Ku kukukukuku!"
"Umm…that could make things a bit awkward to explain." The keybearer said on the other line. "But thanks anyway Kululu. Sora out."
Back with the three…
"Donald, think you can look for Omimi while we fight?" The Brunette asked the duck.
"Uh, sure I can, Sora. But are you sure about this?" Donald replied with a slight concern look.
"Don't worry Donald, I'm sure I can handle fighting Garuru. Just keep looking for Omimi, alright?" Sora said to the white plumed duck.
"Hah… You always want to go one-on-one whenever you fight with someone tough, Sora?"
Donald commented, referencing that this isn't the first time the Brunette fought someone tough by himself. "But hurry up then!" He then ran off before looking back at the Brunette and mouthing 'Good Luck.' before continuing to head off, finding the pale blue tadpole.
"Shall we begin, Sora?" Garuru asked.
Sora gave a wordless nod before summoning his Keyblade into his hand and getting into his stance.
The First lieutenant then appeared to of closed his eyes, as if to focus as a Flashback begins…
Flashback; Keron- before the Keroro Platoon's 2nd visit to Hollow Bastion…
"Pu pu pu?! You want us to train, Leader?" Tororo replied with a surprised tone as the view shows on a training field, with the male members of the Garuru Platoon present.
"Yes. The worlds actually have their own set of rules that even we Keronians must follow when we're inside them." Garuru explained. "And if what the letter said is true, then it could be possible that Pekopon will also have us follow those rules as well."
"But what does this have to do with our training, sir?" Taruru asked.
"Some of our own abilities will be limited to certain guidelines. For instance Taruru, your Taruru Genocide will become what's known as a Shotlock. And you will only have access to two or three levels of it." The First Lieutenant explained to the Private First Class.
"Taru? Shotlock?" The freckled Keronian parroted. "What's that?"
"Pu pu pu! A Shotlock is basically a special lock-on ability that some Keronians and special pekoponians have access to when they're in the worlds." The salmon pink tadpole explained. "It basically makes your ability like the Taruru Genocide a little stronger, but you have to actually lock-on to your target with your eyes and sometimes, a special scanner of some sorts. It's really a bothersome technique to aim and when you first start to use it, as it has a slow lock-on, but when train yourself to increase its lock-on speed and when you actually fire it, the payload is actually quite worth the wait if it hits, which it normally should, given there are at least three different kinds- scattershot, charging and ragnarok style. There's also some special 'ultimate' versions that are unique to each user, and it can only be used by going through some incredibly tough training and defeating a powerful foe."
"Whoooa, that's cool! I guess that means Master will also be effected by it too since he's in the worlds." Taruru said. "What is there in the words do we have to know about?"
"Captain Jirara once said something about the worlds as well when me and Zeroro were under his command, but never to repeat to anyone else unless necessary." Zoruru said with almost no emotion while crossing his arms. "The worlds can impact our battle abilities too, so we can utilize techniques that we would normally be unable to do while within them. However, it will also limits our choice of combat abilities, as if you just starting off in the world unprepared, you'd only be allowed to use 3 to 5 'Commands'. Example is that if you allowed to use four available techniques at the start, then you can use four basic or below average advanced or Ultimate techniques, 2 stronger advanced or ultimate techniques, and one Team based and one other technique. In short, we have quite limited options for when start off. But as you continue to fight in the worlds, you can gain the ability to allow yourself to utilize more techniques and learn new ones, as well rearrange or switch your techniques out for stronger ones or for use of practice, for a grand total of eight combat techniques, at minimum seven action commands that include jumping higher than usual and sliding in the air and usually one Shotlock command to use if you're of a special division of pekoponian."
"You are of course referring to the keybearers that are trained under Keyblade Masters, correct Zoruru?" Garuru said, with the half robotic assassin wordlessly nodded as a response. "Items also take up one space so it could be a boon to use items, whether it used to help gain an edge over battle or to do something one could easily not imitate. You also left out that when using certain combat abilities, we could end up summoning a power that we could use to our advantage in battle, making our attacks stronger as well."
"…I only say that much because we assassins do not use Command styles unless it's absolutely necessary." The grey keronian said while turning away and squinting his red eye to make the pupil look flattened. "I personally don't need to use as such, as it would alter my attacks, and I'm fine using this style of combat as is without any alterations."
"Hey, I know it's a rumor and everything, but I heard that you can create bonds with people and if it's strong enough, you can use a special power to use their powers in battle in battle! But only if they're not present in battle and you're usually on your own!" Taruru said. "Is this rumor true by any chance?"
"You must be referring to Dimension Link or D-link." Tororo pointed out. "And that rumor is true- however only a handful of Keronians can use that ability and so can those humans too, provided they have a Keyblade and have a form of medium to use that power. Of course, there are those who can always use summons instead by using their friends for use of summoning if they have a gem or charm relating to what they want to summon too. Again, they have to have Keyblade, pu pu pu."
"If you two are done, we can continue our meeting." Garuru spoke, with the two giving nods. "I ordered this meeting, as I explained, to help train ourselves to the rules of the Worlds. However, I was personally asked to enter the worlds by myself, but am allowed to call you three in when the time comes. In order for us to be used to the rules…Tororo, I want you to create a special field around us with the same field the worlds uses on us so we can properly prepare."
"Pu pu pu! Easily done, Leader." The Salmon pink keronian said while typing the keys of his laptop. Afterwards, one stroke of his laptop and a antennae-like device emerges from his Laptop creates a special field around the four, used to replicate a forest-like layout around the four. "Anytime you guys are ready, pu pu!"
"Alright!" Taruru said, while looking pumped before getting into a stance.
"Very well then." Zoruru said, emotionlessly while taking a stance with the blade drawn on the back of his metallic hand. "This should be interesting in some aspect."
"There's one last thing I should discuss with you three before we begin." The leader of the Platoon said with the other members looking at him. "Once we finish with today's training, you three are on vacation until you are called in. I suggest taking the time to prepare for your journey as well as practice in the conditions we are currently in. Now… let's begin!" The light purple Keronian then charged forward with a beam saber out with the other two members preparing to head into combat as the Flashback ends.
Present: Planet Earth Foot of Nishizawa Tower.
Garuru opens his eyes as he gets into a stance that mimics that of a different keybearer (more specifically, Terra). "You may make the first move if you want to." He said.
"Got it!" Sora answered as –Saber's Edge (Dissidia Version)- plays. The male Keybearer swings his Keyblade into a position so he could charge with it as his opponent stands ready to guard against it.
