Description Omnini’s House (Time: 11:30)

Omnini was in base state, lying on his bed in his room looking up to the Ceiling with his right arm still broken. He reached up to the ceiling with his broken arm. He sighed as he said, “I didn’t think he would remember that…or even recognize me with the change of the awakening. I guess I was wrong. I should be thankful that it wasn’t my sword arm.”

“What are you talking about, shorty?” Akaka asked as she walked in.

“Ah, I was complaining about my arm again while thinking on how I first met Sododo.” Omnini admitted.

“…Geez, you really must be out of it if you didn’t respond usually to your ‘nickname.’ But yeah, some of us were wondering about that detail, so they followed me up.” Akaka said, pointing her right thumb to Omimi, Suhaha, Yukaka and Omnini’s parents who peered into the room.

“Why were you guys curious too?” Omnini commented with an annoyed expression.

“Personally I was curious on how you knew Sododo before.” Suhaha admitted. “I may of observed your progress, but some things I don’t know are beyond me- knowing Sododo was one of them.”

“Well, I don’t want to talk about it.” The leader said turning to his side away from his family.

“Omnini, if anything would it be better to talk about it?” Shiroro asked.

“I said no!” Omnini stubbornly said.

“Geez…now I get what she was talking about hard heads meeting.” The pale blue tadpole said with a pouty expression.

“So what should we do then?” Kuroro asked.

“Omnini’s obviously not in a good mood but then again we need to get some info.” Shiroro said.

“I’m still gonna say noooo.” The black and red tadpole said.

“Brother, stop being such a mope about it!” Omimi said, in an angry sounding blunt, which prompts Omnini to look at her. “Besides, mom has something to say, right?”

“Oh- right!” Shiroro said, realizing her message. “It’s about Sododo- he wanted to apologize for undermining your confidence. Plus…he believes in a fair fight. He forgotten to dismiss that sword of his that absorbed your electricity energy…speaking of which, I’ve been meaning to ask that- how did he absorb Omnini’s energy anyways! I thought only other energy users could absorb it.”

“Once an elemental awakens, the user’s energy provided is the same as the elemental- for instance, using electricity to power a pair of speakers. Your control and how much energy provided is the same as a how much you can charge something without it overloading and a loose node- like having a wire broken. Fire energy could enhance someone’s flame abilities as energy could also charge an elemental attack.” Suhaha described. “Omnini’s energy charge Sododo’s Storm Surge weapon.

“Oh yeah…” Omnini admitted.

“But he also wanted to let you know something.” Suhaha admitted.

“He wants to rematch you in a fair fight next time- No odd tricks or weapons that would disadvantage each other- just skill.” Kuroro said.

“…” Omnini used his left arm to throw a pillow at the group and said to them while facing them, “Last time I checked I have NO SKILL with a SWORD!” He just returned to lying on his side as he gave a groan. “I was heavily dependent on my electric abilities. At this point Grandpa’s the better leader at this point. So from this point forward, Grandpa is designated leader when I’m not in good condition to lead.”

The group looked surprised at this as the others looked to each as they close the door and headed downstairs.

Living Room

The 5 were seen sitting around the room as Akaka responded, “Well…what do we do now?”

“Hmmm…perhaps we should let him find on what to do on his own- each individual does get help or helps themselves to something.” Suhaha said. “But perhaps he needs to help himself with an idea on where to start on his own skill improvement.”

“But where would he start? He’s slow as all get out without his electricity.” Akaka admitted from knowledge. “But WHY is he so slow?”

“Well…brother isn’t injured, but I remember Mrs. Basasa said that we should try to take things down and slow down to be careful- then again Omnini did a lot of running when he was younger, and not to mention there’s muscle degeneration that could end up crippling him or at least slowing him down.” Omimi theorized.

“NEEEERD!” Vanini (or Masasa) exclaimed as he pointed at Omimi from his room with his golden eyes.

“…What?” Omimi said with a look to his room. “Like you wouldn’t know! At least I remembered my education!”

“…true, but at least I didn’t whiz in the pool.” Vanini said, prompting Omimi to blush heavily before he left before walking out of the room, showing his red crack-like markings showing on his arms, sides and legs.

“…I still don’t get why Omnini has him living here.” Akaka said.
“I think it’s because he doesn’t have a home.” Shiroro said. “And I don’t like your attitude.”

“S…sorry…” Omimi admitted, disappointed. “I guess I’m still in a huff with Brother being a mope.”

“I wouldn’t be so surprised- he ignored my shorty comment!” Akaka said. “I guess he’s really bothered by that loss… Talk about sore losers.”

“It’s more of a case of trying to figure out how to improve himself as I said.” Suhaha responded. “But…I’m sure he has potential- he just needs to unearth it.”

Meanwhile, back with Omnini… (Omnini’s room)

Omnini was looking up to the ceiling again, this time trying to think. “What can improve on first? My speed’s awful but what am I supposed to be. But…I guess at least Sododo’s up for a fair fight anytime.”

6.1 Years (or 6 Years and estimated month) ago: Baseball Field

Omnini from the past (that means in his base state) was seen with a Silver skinned adult with a blue hat (Nagaga) as Omnini watched the game. He just sighed before to stand up and walked up to the guard rail to see what what’s happening. A few Keronians walked behind him including Kabubu and Sododo. Sododo however, noticed the tadpole watching the game as he gave an odd look as he said, “Hey, you alright?”

“Huh?” Omnini replied as he looked behind him and noticed something. “Who are you?”

“You don’t…recognize me do you?” Sododo commented. “We met before.”

“I met a lot of kids back in the Orphanage- but unless your one of those big kids, I don’t remember you.” Omnini admitted as he looked back.

“I was with another officer- before you were an orphanage.” Sododo said as he joined him to look out to the game.

“Huh?” The black and red tadpole commented as he looked to the adult.

“Officer Sododo. You said that I was a little small to be an officer.” The adult replied, which caused the younger tadpole’s eyes to go wide.

“Oh god it’s you- what are you doing here?!” Omnini exclaimed as he looked surprised to the adult. “We didn’t do anything wrong did we??”

“What do you mean?” Sododo said before getting it. “Ooooh- right, you met when I was an officer. Well I’m not an officer anymore. My father wanted me to receive disguise training from the officer I was with. He’s a talented officer who knows how to sneak around in disguise. You see…my Father passed away after I turned 19. He was KIA in a mission.”

“KIA?” Omnini parroted with an odd expression.

“It’s a Military term meaning ‘Killed in Action.’ My mother was crushed when she heard it- and…she disappeared too.” Sododo said, sounding down. “If it weren’t for my childhood friend Kabubu and his dad, I would’ve probably would’ve been on the streets. But misfortune followed through and stole away his mother- disappeared the same way.”

“…What’s with everyone’s fathers of people I know dying?” the black and red tadpole said, prompting the adult to look. “First this girl’s father died because my dad killed hers because he was bad or something. Then my father died because he was attacked by a monster. Now yours is dead.”

“…Bad Luck, huh?” The military individual said. “Not to mention a few Keronians have been disappearing- kidnappings, disappearances, death- stuff like that. And a whole lotta new faces are made. …Er, you do you know-”

“I know the birds and the bees. I learned the hard way when I found my mom was pregnant with my sister.” Omnini admitted. “But…it’s just not fair.”

“Life isn’t fair- you just have to make use of what it gives you.” Sododo admitted. “No one knows what kind of life you would want. Just you.”

“…I just want my sister to stay alive and continue living with her.” Omnini admitted.

“…” The individual looked to the younger one and said, “Right. But I gotta ask- what are you doing here?”

“My legal guardian figured that I need some fresh air, so he took me to a ballgame. That’s him over there.” Omnini pointed to the silver skinned adult who is shown to have green eyes and a blue reptilian eye as his symbol who gave a curious look.

“…Is that Lieutenant Colonel Nagaga?!” Sododo exclaimed, seeing the Keron. “You were adopted by him?!”

“Yeah, me and my sister were adopted by him. Why?” Omnini asked.

“I heard tales about him and his wife Warrant Officer Basasa!” Sododo said, sounding excited. “I heard his son, Captain Kuroro the Black Knight was quite a soldier before he left the army!”

“Why would he leave the army?” The tadpole asked as more children ran by.

“I dunno- I guess they wanted to improve their skills offsite?” Sododo said. “But that’s just me. Beisdes, if you’re wondering why I’m here, I’m with my friend to see a game.”

“I see…” Omnini admitted as swing of a bat hitting the ball was heard as the ball was sent flying. “What are they doing there?”

“Baseball- basically one of the aliens was on Pekopon at one point or another just went to see a game and it showed that humans made a fun game. Not sure if anyone else invented it first of any of the races but it is certainly good fun when the action’s hot.” Sododo said.

“Huh- I guess I see your point. But I don’t see much action yet.” Omnini admitted.

“It’ll pick up. But that reminds me Omnini, what are you going to do with YOUR life?” The swordsman asked.

“…You know, I haven’t really decided yet.” Omnini admitted.

“Well, I might avoid going into the army- it’s a bit of a rough place.” The Navy blue Keronian admitted. “I’m a Warrant Officer at this point. But one thing’s for sure- some superiors are total jerks.”

“Does it matter?” Omnini admitted, before looking out to the field. “…If anything else, I wouldn’t mind if I could be the member of the army…like my father was.”

“Hm?” Sododo admitted. “Do you mean your adoptive father or your real one?”

“It’s mostly based on the real Father- but maybe like my adoptive father.”  Omnini said. “It’s a start- even though I don't know the first one as well- but I always imagined.”

“Ah alright then. So how about this then?” Sododo said. “If you do sign up for the army, and make an invasion platoon and even a base, if we ever get in a fight and I win, I take your base. I’ll even go easy on you.”

“What?!” Omnini exclaimed as he sounded surprised. “What makes you think that you’d win my base! I’m going to earn my experience in the army and I’ll show you! I’ll be as good as Captain Kuroro- my father! So you’re on!”

“Omnini, come on. I was just joking about that (though I may not be). Besides, you can’t go making wild claims that Captain Kuroro is your fa…” Before the Warrant Officer tried to say, another crack of the baseball bat was heard. Sododo was tracking its position before to say, “You may want to move.”

“Huh?” The black and red tadpole replied before getting struck in the head by a baseball, knocking him out cold.

“…Told you so.” Sododo said before Nagaga helps his adoptive child out. “Sorry Sir. I knew from before.”

“I see…” Nagaga said. “I’ll get some Ice for him.”

Present Day: Omnini’s Room

-I suppose you Forgot- (from Fire Emblem Awakening) plays as Omnini looks up to the ceiling of his room. His depressed expression eased up to his normal one before gave a bit of a bored look as he sat up. He gave a look around as he said, “Jeez...I want to know what to do, but I can’t. Omimi’s right…I am moping about.”

Omnini surveyed the room before to admit, “Let’s see…maybe I can improve my foot speed?” He then walked outside of his room.

Living Room

Omnini came down the stairs before noticing that his family and friends were absent before to say, “Nobody home?” He then looked around before to say, “Hmmm…maybe I can use the backyard.”

Outside

Omnini again walks outside before looking around. He then moved his arms to loosen up as well as doing a couple of stretches, then went to one side of the backyard before trying to sprint from the house to the far side to another. He then looked to his cellphone and noticed that he took…around 29 seconds. He then gave a bit of a groan before trying to run again. He seemed to give a faster pace than last time, only to check again, and noticed that he took only that he shaved off…only enough to be a 26 seconds. He gave an annoyed groan before trying to try again…only this time…he shaved a few second from the previous time before giving an angry look. He then tried to up his speed again but then he tripped and a made himself into a ball before he actually hits the side of the house…he checks his time to notice that he actually cut the time to 10 seconds. He gave a bit of a frustrated growl before to say- “This is Bull****!! How am I faster rolling than running?! It’s like when I’m running as fast as a space termite! And those guys are tiny!” He then had an idea before just regularly walking to the other side of the yard before checking his cellphone…only to notice it took 20 seconds to get there. “…This is just playing trolling with me. How am I slower running than walking?”

“I do not know to say the least.” Yukaka said as she came outside prompting Omnini ti give an alarmed look. “I was watching you practice. Perhaps for the curse of that one Pekoponians had?”

“Hrrrrrrrgh…” Omnini groaned before just at a slow pace, banged his head against the wall. “…Maybe I should have mom look at my legs?”

“…Perhaps.” Yukaka admitted. “But why were you going through all that trouble?”
“I guess it was because I wanted to better myself.” Omnini admitted. “But I have to admit…maybe because of my height change that maybe I gotten slower?”

“…Both mother and grandfather then.” The Grandmother said before Omnini nodded with a quick ‘good plan.’ The theme ends as Omnini gives a sigh.

Meanwhile…In a Park on Keron (Time: 12:00)

Sododo and Puriri soon walked down the way as he admitted, “Hey, do you remember how we first met?”

“Well…sure I do- just not very well.” Puriri admitted. “I still headaches about what happened before.”

“Just take it easy.” The Swordsman said. “Maybe I can help settle things right. Let’s see…do you remember how we met?”

“Sure I do- It’s when I was 10 years old going to turn 11.” The Spy said. “I’m 17 going to be 18 in a few months from now!

“I think that’s a bit of a miscalculation. It would’ve been 5 years since you joined the platoon- you officially joined on the month of August but you met us during the time Kabubu became 21 before before I became 23- in June and July. You would’ve been 14 when we met our Pyro a couple years later, I would’ve been 24, and Kabubu 22, so…around 11, turning twelve?” Sododo estimated

“Ooooh yeeeeah!” The spy admitted. “Good point!”

“So going estimation…it would’ve been a year after we formed fortress in the Hospital!” The soldier said as the flashback begins

5.8 Years ago: Barracks Exterior

Sododo and Kabubu were outside of the building, walking in as a young Keronian child looked to of ran by with a bag on her back. Kabubu was now wearing a pair of black sun glasses as well as the current skin color and hat- in fact, that IS his current look! Back on the topic of the child however, she looked like she’s seen something really terrifying as she looked like as she ran by the two. “Whoa, ‘old there lassie! Ya know you ain’t supposed to go into the Military Barracks!” Kabubu said, stopping the child.

“I-I’m Looking for Fortress!” The girl said. It looked like a silver Keronian who looked to be really small like around Omnini’s height when he was 6 years old, but it’s shown to have silver hair underneath the normal hat. She looked really scared with her eyes without shine. “Do you know where they are?”

“She looks pale as a sheet- and not just her skin color.” Sododo said. “What’s wrong?”

“Please, you have to help me!” The girl begged as she sobbed. “M-My parents were killed! Something got to ‘em! You…you have to help me, PLEASE!”

“Calm down, lassie!” Kabubu said as he tries to comfort the girl before changing to a normal way of speaking. “Just tell us again from the start, and slowly this time. First off, what’s your name?”

“M…my name is Puriri- I’m 11 years old, just really short. We were eating dinner when we heard the door open. My father checked outside, and the next we knew…we heard a large, wet ‘thump’…an-and…” The girl looked really upset as she admitted, “Oh god it was horrible…”

“I can guess- your father was struck by something.” Sododo said.

“N-no and yes…Something slashed him…caused him to bleed a lot…it didn’t cause anything else to spill but…we both screamed. We immediately hid in the bedroom. I-I nearly threw up at the sight of what happened to dad…” The girl said, shaking…

“Come inside with us, and continue your story from there.” The swordsman suggested.

Sododo and Kabubu’s Room

“A-after my dad was killed, we hid out upstairs in the bedroom, like I said.” Puriri started again, now in a blanket in Sododo’s bed with the two listening. “At first, we heard stuff being moved around downstairs. Then we heard nothing after a slam of the door… My mom suggested that we go get our stuff and get out of there as soon as possible. I quickly and quietly got to my room and got my stuff. But when I met up with my mom, we looked like we were ready to go when the front door opened again. We tried looking, but…nothing was there. We ducked out of sight and then…we heard something. It looked like it was coming. We ducked into my room- like we were waiting for it to leave again… We heard something as it crept closer. I was really scared, but then mom decided to play hero. She said to look for Fortress. And when said for me to go, I was scared…but I had to. But the next thing we know, the door suddenly slammed open, like nothing was there…but then part of the scenery moved. Mom noticed how and said for me to run away. I pretty got by and outside down the stairs when I tried to look back…and saw the walls splatter with blood as I heard my mom screamed…she was in pain…but I-i-i-I had to go. I hid myself and quickly got out as fast as I can.”

“…Wow…something that was there but wasn’t- and not only that, part of the scenery moved…that’s just…weird.” Sododo responded after she was done. “But I can plainly tell that you were...scared out of your wits.”

Puriri gave a shy nod as dug out of her bag to show her a glass-like object as she said,

“I used to keep a little bank when I was younger- I saved around 2000 yen in it like 20 dollars in another country on Pekopon. Please- use it as a payment to pay for you.”

“You’re…hiring us?” The swordsman responded. “I…hmm…well, we know what we’re up against, that’s for sure. But it seems kind of skeptical though. The proof is there and yet it’s not. We won’t see what me and Kabubu are up against.”

“Aye, but you were really terrified- it’s all the proof we need to take the job.” The Grey Keronian admitted, prompting the girl to give a startled, yet happy gasp. “Now normally we charge a lot more bigger rates than that, but in your case, I think we’re gonna have to make a big exception.”

“Th-thank you so much!” Puriri said, climbing down to hug Sododo. “You guys are the best, really! You’ll be worth every penny and more!”

“Hey, let go!” Sododo said. “People are gonna ask why is a child here, even though you aren’t really one.”

“I’m surprised she somehow changed tones.” Kabubu said as leaned back on his chair a bit. “But then again she’s only a kid. Good news can help cheer anyone up.”

A Few Days Later- at Scene of the Crime

Sododo and Kabubu were led to Puriri’s home when the house was investigated by the Police as the Local officer asked “Hey, hold on there! You can’t come closer!”

“Sir, please wait!” Puriri insisted. “These two are with me- they’re sort my bodyguards.”

“Bodyguards?” The Officer parroted with a look.

“HIRED Bodyguards. I’m Second Lieutenant Sododo, here with Sergeant Kabubu.” The Mercenary said, presenting his Military badge. “We’re the Fortress Mercenaries. Puriri herself came to us and paid for our services. For now, just consider us escorts.”

“Hmmm…Alright.” The Officer said. “But if you want to know, it ain’t pretty… We took the bodies out and sampled furniture that could’ve been moved about during the murder as well as the blood seen on the walls. Some of the stuff we sampled has some DNA of a criminal known as ‘The Hidden’.”

“Oi! Quit Clownin’ around, mate!” Kabubu exclaimed. “We ain’t jokin’ here, we’re ‘ere for the name!”

“S-sorry sir. That’s what we call him- all that we know is that he’s always usually blending in with the environment unless you look closely, and always killed the victim with some form of sharp object…or claws maybe.” The Officer mentioned again as he is intimidated by the demo keron’s outburst.

“Sorry for the outburst then lad.” The Demo said. “…Ey, you’re new to the force, ain’t you?”

“How can you tell?” The Police officer asked.

“Just call it a lucky guess.” Sododo said. “I used to be in the Police too, but mainly with a friend of my father’s under disguise training.”

“Aaah, Officer Ryoyo.” The Officer said. “Well…you might be a suspect but we can’t be too careful. But we request that the child stays with you while you investigate.”

“We insist that she stays with us.” Sododo said as the younger girl hid behind him. “She may not look like it, but she’s at least 11 years old, and knows better than to wander off. Plus if the criminal comes back to the scene of the crime, we’ll be more than ready to take him.” The Soldier peels off the sticker on his belly to toss it up into the air for the symbol to transform into a belt and sheath with the sword appearing the transport system.

“Alright. Come on by.” The Officer then lets the three by as they advanced around and surveyed.

As the three looked around, they went inside as Puriri pointed out, “This is where my father was attacked and died…”

“That’s a lot of blood… It must be a wound in the chest to produce that much.” Sododo admitted.

“Um, can we not mention like this?” Puriri asked politely. “I already feel awful traumatizing to last me some time without Therapy…”

“Take it easy, it’s easy to not think about it.” The swordsman said. “Let’s focus on what’s going on here.”

“Ey, I found somethin’!” The swordsman’s friend called.

The two looked to where Kabubu was and noticed that it was a lot of scattered photos on the ground. Puriri searched around the piles and noticed a photo- it showed an image of an infant Keronian with a familiar blue Keronian- A Steel blue adult with a black hat and a book as a symbol. It appears the the picture showed two others- One of them resembled Puriri quite a lot except for the eyes that looked to be multiple colors. The other had grey eyes with a bit of Atom symbol on his belly and a bit…shorter than average. “Hey, that’s a picture of my family!”

“Who are they?” Sododo asked as –The Terrible Demise of the Coffee man- plays.

“My mom and dad are on the right, while that’s my uncle on the left according to mom.” Puriri admitted. “He’s my mother’s brother.”

“Odd…” Kabubu admitted shuffling the images. “All these other photos has the parents in them, and even the uncle is present, but I noticed some of the photos are torn- like no parents or you in it.”

“…Something’s not right here.” Sododo admitted with an odd expression as the three looked around. “…Let’s head upstairs.”

The two nodded as the three walked upstairs and as they do…one of the Officers on the scene looked around.

Back Outside, one of the Officers on the scene were surveying around and looking around when another one called out something. The others immediately clamored around and noticed a large print on the ground. It looked like it could’ve belonged to a Keronian…until they noticed the claw aspect.

Back with the three, they entered Puriri’s room only to noticed more blood than last time- some of the walls were covered with it and even a closet door was. “M…Mom must’ve died here, protecting me…”

“She must’ve been trying to keep you safe.” Sododo said as he looked around. “Let’s look around a bit more.”

The three nodded as they continued to dig around the room for clues.

Outside, the bushes rustled a bit that catches the Officers’ attention as they
immediately noticed it and prepared something- a gun of their own. “FREEZE! Stay where you are. Rise up, slowly and show yourself.”

However, whatever it was seen from a first person perspective starting from a low ground level. It looked to be from the bushes as it rises up and continues to do so until it looked to meet the Officers’ gazes, as the latter suddenly looked intimidated again. “B…Boss what should we do?”

One of the officers was definitely nervous as they stepped back. However, the boss soon gave out an order…

“S…SHOOT IT!!”

Back with the three, they hear several gunshots outside and several screaming officers before the three looked startled before one of the officers was sent flying into the window to where they are with Puriri screaming upon that entrance. She soon fled as Sododo called out, “Puriri, wait!!”

“Wh-what was that?!” One of the officers called out as they entered the room. “B-Boss!!”

“Something must be outside that tossed him into the window. Puriri got scared and fled- find her!” Sododo ordered.
“Y-Yes sir!” The Officer said before to say, “Hey, you out here? Little girl?”
“Uh, Sododo? You may wanna look outide.” Kabubu said in a normal accent.
The swordsman gave a bit of a nod and as he did he gave a horrified expression. “What in the name of…”
The troopers outside were…decimated. Well, eviscerated as a pool of blood and ever some disemboweled guts were out. “Something’s outside. It must be what killed Puriri’s parents.”

“The Hidden or what they called it?” Kabubu commented.

“Yeah.” The swordsman said with his hand on the handle of the sword. “Get ready.”

The officer looked around before coming back upstairs. “Sirs, sorry, but…I couldn’t find the girl. She must’ve ran outside.”

“Let’s hope she doesn’t end up getting near that thing.” Sododo said before he notices something. “Officer, do not move…”

“Wh-what?” The Officer said before looking frightened. Something was behind him…but for some reason, something…moved as part of the door outside looked to of moved with a shadow and the door looked to be like the hallway a bit.

“It’s blending in behind you! MOVE!” Sododo exclaimed before the officer turned around…and it was to late as the theme came to a dramatic stinging end as something stabbed the officer in the stomach with a form of spear-like tail seen from the other side covered in blood.

The two soldiers immediately looked terrified as the soldier looked down to what struck him before his eyes looked to of turned into his head and giving a bit of a death rattle before the being collapsed onto the floor with the tail pulled out. “…Oooooooh Crap.” Kabubu admitted before he noticed his friend pulled out something and shoots something at where he guessed where the being was. Sododo used his Uzi at the being, showing he hitted something as blood came out. Soon something instantly appeared as a blue being appeared in front of him with some slightly sharp teeth. It looked to be growling as it showed the spear-like tail used to kill the Officer The being has blue eyes as Kabubu said, “A Keronian?! But..something seems really off.”

“It must an experimental process- looks like some crazy scientists are still out there, making killing machines.” Sododo said as –Tex vs Tank- plays and he quickly reloaded before firing more shots at the being. The Keronian like being fled and dodged the attack before the leader said, “After him!!”

The two chased the odd being down the stairs as Sododo kept firing it to try and wound it. The two followed it down the stairs as Sododo tries to chase it to the dining room. Kabubu surveyed the area as he looked like he was trying to find the child that fled.
Sododo meanwhile chased it to the outside as he changed from his Uzi to his sword being drawn. He looked around as he surveyed the area. He noticed the being disappeared again, as he looked around before noticing part of the trees moving in an irregular way with Sododo blocking an attack. The blue being soon appeared again as the two clashed into combat before Sododo narrowly dodged the thrusting attack and swiped the tail. However, a white line was seen where struck near the joint as the blue being growled at Sododo before he attacked with a swift combo with two hands on the blade. Meanwhile, back inside, Kabubu was digging around the house as Kabubu asked, “Oi, Puriri! Where are ya! You here?!” Kabubu keeps looking around as he went into the bedroom as he dugs out several images including the image two tadpoles- the female that resembles Puriri and a blue tadpole with the same symbol as the one seen from another image. “Huh?”

Sododo keeps fighting off the attack until his sword got knocked away. However, just as the monster thinks it won, Sododo catches the tail and somehow as he exclaimed, “Nice Try!” before he easily throws it over him, twice before jumping up and slamming him like a hammer as the music comes to an end. The being struggles to get up before shaking it off. Sododo tries to use a Jet Black Pistol with skull designs on it executioner style to the head of the monster before Sododo said, “Pick a god you believe in and pray.”

“…No thanks.” The blue being replied before surprising Sododo briefly that it could talk, tossing him away during that small window. Sododo recovered before taking a shot, and hitting where it struck with the tail, with the white line glowing before severing the tail from the being with the lizard-like Keronian screaming in pain. “You’ll PAY for that!”

Sododo looked to the gun before putting it away with Kabubu appearing. “Oi, Sododo! You’d got him?”

“No, he got away.” The swordsman said. “But he left us a pretty big clue.” He picked up the wriggling tail before Sododo silenced its movements by holding it down. “It WAS an experiment after all. But it can blend in the backgrounds- making him almost invisible until he moves. But it must be modified too- it’s tail was used as a weapon.”

“Freaky…” The demo Keron admitted. “But I got bad news. Puriri’s still missing.”

“Damn…” The male cursed under his breath. He then called out, “Puriri! Where are you?!”
“H…Here!” The girl said, sounding really close. The back door crept open by the wind, but…nothing was there until Puriri appeared via her light abilities in front of the two.

"Oi, lassie! 'ow did you do that?" The confused Kabubu asked.

"Oh, um…m-mom said that I can change my body colors by using light, so I can either hide
in plain sight…or I change myself to anyone I want to." The young child answered.

"So she can be like a spy…or a really tough person to find in hide and seek. She can be a practical chameleon." Sododo said.

"Actually…I think you mean a Prism. My name actually comes from Prism! …Or, at least if you say it in an odd way." The girl said again.

“Where were you hiding this whole time?” The swordsman asked.

“I was in my parents room, underneath the bed. I used my abilities to hide…until I heard you guys go down the stairs. I kept creeping around until I saw Sododo try to kill it with that gun from where I was hiding.” The girl said, now sound ashamed. “I’m really sorry you guys. Really!”

“Just as long as you’re okay.” Sododo said, hugging the girl who hugged back. “You’re safe now. Although the officers…”

“They all died…” The girl said, noticing the eviscerated corpses of the officers. She then noticed the tail as she said, “What’s that?”

“The Murderer’s weapon.” Sododo said. “He WAS one.”

“We oughta call the cops about this one, and tell ‘em what happened.” Kabubu suggested.

“On it.” Sododo said as he took out a phone as Kabubub picked up the tail.

Several Minutes Later…

Officer Ryoyo approached the group as several more tougher officers investigate the area. “You two okay?”

“Yeah. The Murderer returned to the scene of the crime, probably to kill Puriri here. We fought him off, but the Officers here were killed…” Sododo said as most of the officers were seen trying to store the bodies without vomiting. “The poor men…all they did was just…tried to fight off the being only to get killed. And what's weird is that thing knew we were coming...or maybe...it was waiting.”

“…” Ryoyo gave a solemn look before tipping his hat down. “Sometimes danger has a way of getting to even peaceful folks. You were lucky you guys survived- you gave a big clue to what’s happenin’ around here. Both the tail and the girl. But those guys were rookies- we thought it was just a common thug, not a tough monster.”

“Can…” Puriri tried to ask. “Can…Can we come to their Funeral? It’s the…the least I can do. It’s my fault that they came here… I’ll even bring flowers for them.”

“That’s awfully considerate of you, little lady.” Ryoyo said, patting the girl’s head. “You got a big heart in that small body of yours.”

“Thank you…” The girl said again, sounding a bit happy yet…mostly sad.

Several Days later… Graveyard

In the light of the setting sun, the three survivors were looking down to the recently filled graves of the Keronian officers who lost their lives. Puriri sets down several bouquets of flowers on the graves including the ones of her (Unnamed) parents. However, after she set down the flowers, it only took a few moments to notice Puriri was looking down. However Sododo was looking solemn as well as he clenched his fist. However, he then hears the sound of…small sobbing before seeing Puriri quiver before turning around hugging Sododo sobbing. Sododo looked discouraged before picking up the child and hugging her as well. However, barely any tears came out of his eyes. Kabubu finally said something as well…

“The three of us all lost somethin’ in one way or another, huh?”

“Yeah…” Sododo said as he pats the girl’s back.
“Ya know, we never actually finished this mission, huh?” The demo Keronian said. “Not only that, we don’t know if that girl’s uncle is even alive.”

“…Unfortunately.” Sododo said before hearing the girl’s sobbing becoming a bit louder.

“Not only that,  I don’t know if we can hold on to her considering we live in the barracks. She did explain in court everything that happened. All that we know that it was heavily implied it was an assassin’s attempt.”

“Stop…just stop, please…” Puriri said, implying she sounded distressed. “I…I think you’re right…what if my uncle really was targeted too? He…I…I’m all alone…”

“We’ll find you a home.” The swordsman said. “We know someone who would take care of you. Just trust-” However, he was interrupted when the girl hugged harder. “H-hey! Ease up a bit!”

“I-I don’t want to go anywhere else but with you two!” The young girl said pulling herself away but her eyes still all watery. “That guy got away, right? He might not stop until he wants me dead! Not only that…something like before would happen again! You guys saved me after all- you have to let me stay with you! I’ll even join the army and join your platoon too!”

“Huh?!/Wha?!” The two exclaimed in a jinx as –Here We Are! The Shepherd’s Garrison- (From Fire Emblem Awakening) plays.

“I…It’s the only way for me to stay close to you!” Puriri said wiping her tears away.
“Besides, I saw Sododo fight that thing- and I heard about how you destroyed enemy bases with a simple placement of explosives, Mr. Kabubu! You guys could be the only ones who could defend me! And all I can do is…hide. But my light abilities could be of some help! I can probably make myself look like anyone if I really tried!”

“But…you’re really short.” Sododo added. “You might not be an effective spy if that’s what you’re thinking of doing.”

“Well I’m trying it!” The girl said, angry but determined. “I’m sure someone might be able to help me learn how to be a spy! And there’s no way you two are gonna stop me- too many Keronians, my parents included, died protecting me! I don’t want to stand there and watch more of them march towards their deaths- you two included!!”

“…She’s a determined wee lassie- I’ll give that much.” Kabubu admitted, impressed by Puriri’s speech. “She’s also right- for a child, too many Keronians died just to protect her and even just to find the truth to why that guy tried to hunt her. Plus she does give a justified point- because we failed our job, that guy might come back to finish the job he tried to do.”

Sododo looked to the graves in front of him and even to a distant one before giving a nod. “Alright. She’ll join us then.”

“R-Really?!” The girl said, sounding surprised. “Y-you would let me?”

“That ability oughta be useful in the army in one way another. It might be a Cowardly way of fighting, but sometimes stealth is needed to get by.” The swordsman said. “Plus, you were really silent when you hid. I bet infiltration oughta be useful.”

“Hey, we also got a welcoming gift in mind for ya!” Kabubu said as he present the money back to Puriri: “A full refund of our job we took from ya. Since we failed the job it’s our policy to give back the money.”

“G…Guys…” Puriri said with her eyes shiny again but watery again. However, she shook her head and wiped her eyes before to say, “Thanks, but…I think having me along with your platoon is payment enough for my protection. I just want it to make it my resolution to make sure no one else dies because of me.”

“Puriri…” Sododo admitted with a smile before lowering himself down placing his hand on her head and said, “Welcome to the team, my dwarfish friend.”

“Th…HEEYY!!” Puriri exclaimed before to say in a huff. “You said that on purpose knowing that I was short!”

“Somebody sounds better!” Kabubu said with a smile. “But then again, you know, the army ain’t no place for a kid.”

“Like I care- I’m sure I’m not the only kid who joined an army platoon!” Puriri said. “But…Thanks guys. Seriously.”

“No problem. Glad to have you aboard.” The swordsman said as the theme ends.
