Tetropolis' art community is in terror! Its leading painters, singers and writers are being kidnapped without a trace. The police have no leads. Even Tetropolis' superhero defender--Tetraman--is powerless to stop the rash of disappearances. All that is known is the culprit is called The Collector.

These events made city leaders call for the cancelation of a visit by the world renowned Tolstoy Ballet. Prima ballerina Natalya Rasputinova is adamant. The show must go on! After a wonderful performance, Natalya returns to her dressing room where she is met by Biff Brompton, Tetropolis' esteemed patron of the arts. The plucky ballerina expects he is there to congratulate her on her dance. But he has other motives on his mind!
