Description
In star date 3241, a threat arose to the very existence of the Star Confederacy, the Cybotic Virus. This living bio mechanical virus took over the body and minds of its victims, turning them into Cybots. Part human and part machine, these possessed individuals became an army dedicated to spreading the virus. The Confederacy prevailed against this force, but only through a ruthless elimination of all those possessed and the destruction of every world they occupied.
The Star Confederacy rebuilt in the wake of this disaster. As the Cybotic Virus did not make a reappearance, it was thought to have been completely destroyed. Over time, its existence became viewed as a bad dream.
The threat reemerges when Confederate Star Captain Paula Upright's exploratory mission accidentally activates a hibernating Cybot hive. Captain Upright manages to defeat the Cybots but only at the cost of most of her crew and the near destruction of her ship.
Worried that a Cybot survived to spread the virus, Captain Upright seeks to warn the Star Confederacy. With her ship mostly disabled, she seeks the help of the nearest star culture, the Naerid Matriarchy. The Naeridae are an offshoot of the human race that have purged themselves of the male sex. They are a closed society and suspicious of outsiders and hostile to men.
Captain Upright and her surviving crew are taken in by a Naerid patrol vessel. Our story picks up there as the author was too lazy to render the above.
In full disclosure, the only reason I made a matriarchy is because I bought the Alion suit on Renderosity, which is amaaaaazing and they don't make a male version.

Thanks! It would take me years to get those poses right...and that is not even taking into account rendering times!
