FYI: The CONCEPT of art being generated by artificial intelligence is not what drives me up the ass. I just fucking hate the concept of someone using some other artists' work (without their permission) to make some shitty ass "painterly" style drawing purely generated by an AI program and then claim it as their own. You might have seen some examples depicting anime characters, furries or Pokemon, where the picture "looks" like a perfect painting but when you look closer you realize that the anatomy is all fucked up or there is a watermark in the corner that is absolute gibberish.

Artists may spend hours, days, weeks or even months on an illustration, and it takes hard work out the ass to complete a body of work to share with the world (not just art but literature, music, etc.). Some artists out there are struggling to even get their voice heard. The "AI Artists" are not the main problem here. It's the motherfuckers running the AI programs, and the people who see these programs as a "replacement" to actual hard work produced by humans, and therefore enable people to some other artist's work for their own benefit. It's nothing short of disgusting and it treats other artists like shit, and the fact that DeviantArt is still enabling this sort of shit to happen is unacceptable.

Support human artists and don't rely on AI.
