...I am not going to promise that this will be my last Vincent photo.Honestly--this one has become one of my very favourites. Not to tootle my own horn, but I feel like it captures the essence of the grief, subtle anger and grim determination of Vincent's character. I blame the photographer and lighting for this awesomeness >_>

Yeah :/ You know--our experiences cause physical changes in our bodies, and the neural pathways produced are extremely difficult to change. So if there's been a lot of hurt or grief or anger--it doesn't tend to go away since it's an actual physiological thing.

Yeah... See, I didn't meet my father til about 6 years ago.
And when I was little, I had a step-father that enjoyed little more other than beating the shit out of me and locking me in a pitch black room to sleep.
Fuck, I'm almost twenty one years old... and I'm still afraid of the dark because of that... I had no light. I had no one to protect me. I simply had the darkness.
Doesn't help that my mother made my biological father sound like a total douche when he's actually such a wonderful, wonderful man... And thousands of times more of a man than that bastard step-father of mine could ever be.

It's just, what bothers me more is that the only one who really believes me is my grandmother. I've been called a liar all my life, among many other, usually more horrible, things... No one understood me. I was the butt of everyones' jokes, and I was always in their crosshairs. Hell, I've even had half-eaten food thrown at me... Ugh, there's a reason I don't like considering myself as a "human." Humans are horrible, rancid creatures focusing on their own destruction, along with anyone else that happen to be nearby.

I try to keep them as such. I may SUGGEST something, if you talking about adult themes, but only suggest. I never actually go into any kind of detail.
And even SUGGESTING is a rarity for me. It always feels like I'm intruding on my characters' private time, you know?

D: Romance is part of storytelling! It's interpersonal relations! If you cut it out, you lose half the interest and depth of the story! ...and this is coming from someone who doesn't like romance, lol.
I just don't go for sex scenes. :3 And I generally try to give my characters high moral standards.
