in the game it's pretty obvious that carl and wilbur are best buds, so it's super easy for me to imagine carl being there for him when he's young... and too afraid of the dark to go to sleep. i love these two

and also because everyone should have a mini carl. i so want one of those. i would take him everywhere.

wilbur's bed is missing the car-like bed frame - i drew it without reference to his room and liked the draping too much to add it. also, there is no ugly window on that wall - but i wanted to show it was night - which came out crappy anyways due to lack of color (i had limited color pencils, and no purple, to my frustration. i was so annoyed i blotted white-out polka-dots on it for "stars" and a "moon".)

and i didn't crop the uncolored parts because i liked to see the color suddenly stop / fade away...
