in the game it's pretty obvious that carl and wilbur are best buds, so it's super easy for me to imagine carl being there for him when he's young... and too afraid of the dark to go to sleep. i love these two
and also because everyone should have a mini carl. i so want one of those. i would take him everywhere.
wilbur's bed is missing the car-like bed frame - i drew it without reference to his room and liked the draping too much to add it. also, there is no ugly window on that wall - but i wanted to show it was night - which came out crappy anyways due to lack of color (i had limited color pencils, and no purple, to my frustration. i was so annoyed i blotted white-out polka-dots on it for "stars" and a "moon".)
and i didn't crop the uncolored parts because i liked to see the color suddenly stop / fade away...

Awwwww its Cuuttttee X3 , btw It is True in the Ps2 version to get to his bed u have to use The Lev weapon, ive completed it doing so XD i also noticed for different platforms the game is on there are different kinds of levels , it sticks to the story still just the levels different, overall this Art work is Awsome ^^ an i'd wuv a mini carl to keep me company ^^

OMG! Guess what! I was in art class and we were working on shading and value. I had printed this picture out and was looking at it and the teacher was trying to teach me about how to do the shading. She saw the picture in my hand and asked to look at it. Then she used it as an example for the values!Chalicity, you successfully impressed my art teacher!!!

That is the cutest most adorable idea I've EVER seen! And I can totally imagine it too, Carl and Wilbur have been together since...well probably since Wilbur was small, because Cornelius had him built at an early age. So cute! <3
By the way, is his bed in the game? I know his room is, but there's no bed in there? I wanted there to be, it would've been awesome. XD

i have a sketch of him in a full-on froggy suit (because with franny as his mother you know it would happen X3 ), but i just have to get around to coloring it. wilbur's not easy to draw. and i forgot to comment on it but your wilbur really improved - he looks so perfect in the first panel of the second page of your fancomic
