This is a painting I did a while ago and I have found it again. It is traditional oil on canvas. 12x16ins.Related content

Thank you. This painting was in an exibition at the 809 Gallery, La Grange, Georgia, in August/September 2009. Unfortunatly, it got lost or was stolen in the mail on route back to me in England, so it's a lost painting. I often wonder if it is still out there or has been distroyed.

Thank you Chris, I went for texture on this one. Unfortunately the camera image doesn't quite pick that up. But then I'm not a photographer, lol.

I've always found that it's a lot harder to take shots of oils than it is to snap watercolours, that's for sure. Absolutely gorgeous, though.

Thank you so much. It's not that I haven't got a good camera Canon EOS 400. But I've noticed certain paintings don't photograph well and others look great on film - a bit like people I suppose, lol.

Thanx. It's one of my favorites. I almost sold it once but really, the person who wanted to buy it was offering far too little. I couldn't let it go for practically nothing. Every time I look at the painting now I count it has his loss.
