On my own

The time passed since the awful occurrence and I became an adult saliko.
But although I am full grown I never felt very mature. My family was always there. We hunted together, rested together so I was never lonely but also never on my own. I have to learn independent so I made a decision.
I had to left my home, my parents, my aunt and my cousin and learn how to be a saliko.
My family seemed sad when I teld them that I will leave. They wished me the best of luck but their faces showed me that they were worried. Nevertheless, I had to go alone.
It was not easy to me. I was afraid when I have slept and finding food wwas also a problem. I am not the best hunter and the only things I caught were small animals. Lizards are easy prey but they are still kind of scary to me...
Even so I have to beat my fear! I'm not a whelp anymore, those small lizards cannot harm me.
I leapt and I swooped for it.
"Yes, see? You did it!" I told to myself.
I will never again run away of a lizard..
