Description
This was a perspective assignment that I ended up colouring quickly in a fit of boredom. The character was inspired both by my best friend, and Miwako from Paradise Kiss, but she is neither. XDI'm not very in love with her face, but pretty happy with the rest of it. Shoddy colouring, but I'm impatient with colour.

Very nice. You pulled the perspective off quite nicely. The coloring of the letter I is off in the mirror, and the mascara got a bit heavy. Again, very nice.

I feel like I'm pretty good at seeing the mistakes I make. Not always good at correcting them in each drawing, but I see the mistakes and ask my roommates for critiques, so that I can remember for the future and try to improve one or two of the things the next time~~

Of course you may ask, but... I have no idea. It happened sometime during high school. My friends and I usually make up silly/stupid names we call each other for a day or two and I'm sure this one started as a joke then just stuck around, and now I use it as my name everywhere except with my immediate family. How about Habari?

My bad about the break in response time...That name you have Chama sounds kind of cool. I think of tea, or some Indian name.
The origin of my Pen-name Habari came from someone I meant at an International Festival years ago. Habari is my real name translated into Swahili (African language). I liked the name so it stayed with me.
Del Negro (to make a long story short) dates partially back to H.S. I am heavily part Native American (Blackfoot) and African American so I took up a Spanish last Pen-name. I also like the color Black a lot so the name Habari Del Negro suits me well... Whats the story with the Avatar?

Habari is not listed in a name meaning site I visited. Habari comes from East African language and though Swahili may have Arabic roots.Edward means 'wealthy guardian' if you add Del Negro you roughly get an Arcane-like name for me. Thanks for both compliments. 'Double L the Peacemaker' is another AKA of mine...don't be blasting my secrets~

Existential meaninglessness is my replacement for what people'd call "religion" I guess, if you have to have a religion (which you don't...) It's hard to explain properly, because in explaining it you lose the meaning. Like many things, really. It sounds defeating or negative in theory, but I don't find it to really be that way. :]

Vanilla kind of reminds me of a character from Saga Frontier. I think it was White Rose in Asellus storyline. You create dolls?

I can't remember what dolls I talked to you about! I make pixel dolls (just pixel characters, really.) and I do the face paints on my own real dolls (Asian Ball-jointed dolls).

Check the first main paragraph under Scenarios for gist on Asellus and White Rose. I like that Game Art in Saga Frontier and the the music is awesome too for its time.
Interesting, though I don't collect dolls, the Artist whom I emulate often (Kazuma)Art style has been described as being doll-like in his Character Illustration of faces. You haven't told me about many dolls outside of the one from previous. (Elaborate when you get a chance.) You seem to be one of those pose-shell-study makers. That's nice of you to make Pixel Dolls for people. Also the Face Painting sounds like it requires much dexterity also...
