This is a test I sent to Nickelodeon in order to get some job in their children's book.As you know, the characters are copyrighted.

VERY nice! I love the background - very professional! The only thing I would suggest is that you move SpongeBob's pupils and irises a little bit - it kind of looks like he's staring into nowhere...and SB's upper lip is protruding a bit more than is usual...SpongeBob's pose is quite dynamic; I like it! But if it was me, I would push the pose just a bit further and try to make it look a bit more charismatic/fun and 'spongy'...but who am I to give advice; I'm no pro!

Actually, I'm surprised that Sherm doesn't have MORE pageviews! He actually worked on SpongeBob for about 6 years and was even the storyboard director on the SpongeBob Squarepants movie!

Guauuuu! No sabia que Nickelodeon hiciese esas pruebas...tu trabajo es espectacular.igual o mejor que un fotograma de la serie. Es un trabajo muy bien acabado y limpio. El colorido es genial tambien... Con que programa lo has hecho? escaneaste el boceto o lo hiciste integro en formato digital???

Mil gracias, Lila. Este dibujo lo hice primero a lápiz. Después de escanearlo me lo llevé a Photoshop y ahí hice todo lo demás.
Por lo general muchas empresas andan en la mira de nuevas manos, pero la mayoría de las veces los datos se transmiten en círculos más o menos cerrados y no son de dominio público, aunque a veces algunas sí ponen avisos.
Un consejo útil: Nunca te quedes callada; hacer expresos los deseos que uno tiene es el primer paso para conseguir trabajos interesantes.

thank you for the comments. I created all the entire image including it background. They (Nick) ask me to an image made with illustrator, but I made it using photoshop only.

pero lo que mas me late, son las tecnicas de color que aplicas tan de pocas tuercas.
(no se si conoscas a jose quintero) la tecnica que utiliza es parecida a la tuya, neta que chido.
