Once upon a time hands were the absolute hardest thing for me to draw. I could not would not draw them to save my life. Slowly I stared to do quick exercises like this one and slowly, very slowly I managed to figure out how to do it. I looked at a lot of manga's by Tite Kubo for inspiration along the way. That guy can draw hands like its nobodies business.

Oh please go ahead. No one is born know how to draw, and hards are especially tricky, so year looking at what other people do trying for your self is a great way to learn.

Good on you! Constant practice is really the only way to get better. And I cannot stress the importance of books. Yeah the internet is great, but reading a book about what you want to learn, that is the best.

oh, lol no reading, its step by step, how to draw the characters, im on faces and bodies right now, im doing much better then I thought I would, thank you though!

Soo nice! I simply can't draw hands but this is very nice. I might use this as a reference, If I may ? =3 Nice job on them, they really look pretty gorgeous!

Thanks. Like I said, hands used to be the WORST thing for me to draw. Until I started doing these little exercises. So yeah, go ahead and reference them, referencing things over and over is the way to go until eventually you can draw things straight form your head.

These all look pretty good but I do think that the ones in the middle and the one right under it look a little interesting. The one at the bottom kind of looks like they broke their thumb and the one in the middle looks like they broke their index finger (but they're all better than the ones I can do, a.k.a every finger I draw looks broken). Besides that, the other ones look amazing!!

The one on the bottom was supposed to be an attempt at foreshortening, so it does look weird, especially without shading. But in the end that is the point of these exercises, to be rough and mess up so when the time comes to actually draw those for a piece the mistakes have been made elsewhere.
