Description
For a personal project to categorize the Digimon in evolution charts. All evolutions are straight lines, where the Digimon evolve through normal means. This one features the Digimon from Data Squad, or Digimon Savers! Wondering where Falcomon is? Don't worry, he'll be along soon...Based off of the Digivolution lines from Digimon Data Squad, as well as from the Digivice iC: lcd.wtw-x.net/SaversEvo1 lcd.wtw-x.net/SaversEvo2
Puffmon -> Kyaromon / Wanyamon
Kyaromon -> Kudamon -> Reppamon -> Tylinmon -> Kentaurosmon

Datirimon -> Budmon / Chapmon
Budmon -> Lalamon -> Sunflowmon -> Lilamon -> Lotusmon

In Savers, sure. But Lilymon turned into Rosemon first. >3> So I gave Lilamon a more recent (and IMO more appropriate) Mega instead.

Well sure, if you're going off the show. But most of the original partner Digimon in Adventure never evolved to Mega, though they all got designs for their Mega forms back then, Rosemon included.
Besides, the recent Digimon Adventure game for the PSP in Japan confirms each of the remaining Digimon's final evolutions: Tentomon warps to HerculesKabuterimon, Gomamon to Vikemon, Palmon to Rosemon, etc.
So if that doesn't confirm it as Palmon's canon Mega (not that I needed the confirmation anyway to know that, seeing as that's what happened in the V-pet, just like lines of guys like Syakomon, Crabmon, and Tapirmon), I don't know what does.
Besides, it's not like I'm saying they're mutually disclusive. I just chose Lotusmon to represent this one instead of Rosemon. (You might also notice that I used the original Bandai art for Kudamon, rather than its appearance for the show-- that should be another hint that I'm not exactly following the anime with these.)

EDIT: Okay wait well let me clarify here: Lilamon never evolving to Lotusmon in any major media (unless you count Digimon Dawn/Dusk I guess) is true. However, Lilymon DOES evolve into Rosemon in the recent PSP Adventure game that I mentioned earlier. So... you're partly right?

It was disappointing when Rosemon appeared in Digimon Data Squad as mega of Lalamon instead of Lotusmon.

Rosemon was made to be Lilymon's Mega. 
I mean, it's not like SOME evos can't repeat and stuff, especially for the higher stages, but come on. All the OTHER Data Squad Digimon got their own original lines, why not this one too? Lazy.

Lotusmon is Lilamon's mega form in Digimon Dawn.
Maybe authors of Data Squad don't want to do the same thing. Who knows?

Yeah see, but the problem is that by not doing the same thing, they DID THE SAME THING. They can't exactly stake a claim on the creativity argument when it results in them NOT coming up with a new, original design for a character.

The problem is Lalamon's partner - Yoshino. She was pale and simple character, in contrast to Marcus and Thomas.

Anyway it's Puffmon for the baby stage and Kyaromon for In-Training. I'm guessing you already know the rest of them in this one? (Most people forget about Datirimon, I'm a little surprised. xP)

kinda hard to remember him since he only appeared on screen in the last ep of adventure 02 for a few minutes. i forgot his name awhile back but remembered what he looked like. found him on digimon wiki and there ya go i found him

Yeah, the biggest objection I've heard on this one is Datirimon -> Chapmon, but looking at the two of them, I'd say it works pretty well.
The real thing about this one isn't what's there, but what's missing... Unlike the other lines, in which nearly all the rookies have at least 2 potential Champion forms, I opted to leave all of these guys with just their main lines. There might be a few Champions I placed on other rookies that might be percieved as being better coming from one of these four Rookies but I don't think it'll be much of an issue... we'll see whenever I get the rest of the next batch complete.

are you going to do the flamemon family line? yes as weird as it sounds flamemon is the rookie form of the agunimon > burninggreymon > aldamon/emperorgreymon line from frontier.
