- Moving through the ancient ruins of the old castle, the lone female skunk follows the calling of her spirit. She doesn't know what drew her here, or even what the purpose of this castle originally was, but she knows that she's supposed to be here. She's unafraid, as she can't feel any malevolence, but still cautious. What awaits her beyond the next archway?-

It's been way too long since I've gotten to do a new full picture of Paula. She's one of my favorite characters, but unfortunately doesn't get a lot of central screentime in comparison to more action-packed characters like Rick. This was supposed to be just a cool picture of her, but then I started the Character Project, so I thought of making this her profile picture... but then this picture came out really more detailed than I planned for it to be. So, I'll probably finish a different picture for Paula's 'official' profile, but I'll still give her information here!

About Paula:

Paula hails from the Free Territory of the Western Continent. She grew up there under the tutleage of her teacher, Master Ito, and was sent overseas to Keeton City to work towards her degree in counseling and aromatherapy, as well as to better learn the ways of the world. She's a sweet, kind-hearted skunk who always puts her friends first and became Rick's girlfriend shortly after a chance encounter where he saved her from being mugged!
At least, that's the public story.
Much about Paula is shrouded in mystery to her friends in Keeton. She doesn't talk much about what really brought her to Keeton City, but it's become clear to some that she's intricately connected to mystic forces working against SphenisCaide and his organization. Those who *truly* know Paula know that she has strange abilities that involve tapping into a spiritual plane that she calls "the streams". Here she can effect and foresee various events and even effect fursons themselves in subtle ways. The extent of these abilities is barely understood even by herself, but there are rumors that follow her about things she may or may not have had a hand in... Such as the 'chance encounter' with a certain raccoon.
She does make fantastic tea, however! There's no debate about that.
