Description
I never realized how big this was.Anyway, Derpy's my favorite pony, so I love drawing her. I did the same thing as 'Applejack in all Seriousness': I drew the pic and scanned it in instead of using my tablet. I did use the tablet for the clouds, though. Oh yeah, the bubbles, too.
Time: 2 hrs (about)
Program: Gimp 2.6

Thanks.
I use ArtRage Studio Pro. It's a little buggy on a Mac but emulates several painting tools perfectly. It's easier to use than Photoshop for simple art stuff.

Yes, I cannot stand Gimp at all.
Would never have used it in the past, if it wasn't free. ^^
Here's an example of a gimp-Derpy I did some time ago. [link]

The posture is just brilliant and seeing Derpy fly chaotically like that always makes me giggle, I love it. If the lineart would have been a tad cleaner it could have been perfect.
Mind if I try myself at it just for practice?

Yeah, well it was just practice again. Plus, I tried different markers. It wasn't supossed to be some big project.
As long as you give me credit, I'll send you the lineart.

Couldn't hold my fingers still and redid the lineart already. And of course you'll get credit for it. ;D
Always when I see a picture close to perfection my ocd kicks in. ^^

Not that I want to say, that I could do it better or anything like that. The picture looks great as it is. <3
