No, MK2, UMK3, MKD and MKSM, she is dark-skinned. However, in MK2011, she is white-skinned.

Which YEAH they bleached her skin in story mode for no good reason, but when you play her character in ladders or single fights

But yeah, I do agree the new design for jade does make me mad.
i didnt like her in the MK movie for the same reason.

So yes a black woman would be best to play her in any live action adaptations

Some lazy jackass couldn't come up with a brand new outfit for Jade, so they took Li Mei's MKX concept art, and forgot that Jade was dark skin and not Asian. And here we are.

It's a good outfit, imo! I would give her some other hairstyle and make a few additions to the outfit, but otherwise, it's a good look... except for the false skin colour and eye colour. :/

Just because the recent concept artists don't know what colour Jade's skin is doesn't mean she should change it.
Always been dark-skinned in-game, and she should stay that way.
