Description
This chart consists of 144 Copic Ciao colours. I'm pretty sure those are all the Ciao markers available -- er, at least, to the best of my knowledge, these are all of them~It's pretty much a reference i made for myself, but then i decided i should share it with dA because if not i would have no dA spirit :C
but all in all, i copied was very inspired by =cartoongirl7 's copic chart, which is of the copic sketch markers. it's fantastic:

This was helpful thanks for sharing ^^ One thing I notice with pens like this is that the colour is almost always slightly darker than the packaging suggests

Thank so much for making this list! But it might be missing a few? I've got three that I couldn't find on there; V05 (Marigold), BV25 (Grayish Violet) and YG09 (Lettuce Green). Thanks again, though!

Thank you for this chart. This will be the first time I've used Copic markers, and it's quite overwhelming collecting a decent range of colours to begin with. This reference made it a lot easier - particularly with your favourites marked on there.

Thank you for shareing chamois. You have been a great help, without you my mum wouldn't have got my christmas wishlist
I wanted to give my mum a list with the colors I owne and those I especially wish. The problem was, that the current copic ciao chart on their website is SO EXTREMLY varying from the actual colours. It's unbelievable. I swatched the ones I had on a paper and compared my swatches to yours and what can I say: they really match quite good. So I decided which colours I'd prefer from your swatch. *haha*
And now I have to go and check out youzr galelry

Awsome chart! It's really useful, I used it when buying my first lot of Copic Ciao pens! Although I think you're missing G28...? I might be completely dippy, but I can't see it in the Green section.

you are welcome~
ah, i didn't use a pen for that, i used a white pencil crayon. i've actually been trying desperately to look for a good white inky pen, but to no avail. :C so i just use the pencil crayon lol.

I bought ten markers (E50, V17, C7, C3, R59, YG06, B05, RV29, B39 and E31 - the colours I'll probably use most), a blender, an 0.8mm liner and some bleedproof paper ;D

THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I already know Cartoongirls7's copic chart, but since I want to get ciaos these time and not sketch (if I can get more for less...why not? they are the same and they all work ok together.) and most of the colours I want and I liked are only on Copic Sketch. So thank you very much

You're so welcome! I'm glad it's of use to you <33
Although, as for getting 'more for less', I believe that Copic Ciao markers have half the amount of ink that the Sketch do, and where I'm from they're a bit more than half the price. Idk about you, though, haha. But I'm just letting you know in case you weren't aware. It would suck to spend money on something of a lesser value, y'know?

oh I already know that.Actually I have both qualities, and it's kinda weird, but the first marker that started to die...was a sketch and not a ciao xDD
I like both anyway. there are colours that I only can get with sketch, other I can get with both. But I think that ciao should have more colours
but thank you again

LOL really? My ciaos always die first. Especially the 'E's, since I use them too much ;n;
And yeah, Ciaos should have more colours available! If they implemented certain shades into the Ciao series, it would make blending colours a lot nicer. >:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1
chamoise In reply to YONXI [2010-01-26 20:13:22 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I love my ciaos, but the sketch markers are far better when it comes to colour selection, and other minor factors. Ciao has 144 colours, whereas sketch has 334. You can use an airbrush with the sketch, but not with the ciao. Sketch markers are oval, so they won't roll off the table. I also believe that sketch markers have more ink, and they'll last longer. The only catch is that they're pricier than ciao, but the ciao markers are made for beginners, anyway. So if you're going to buy some copics, i'd say you start with the ciao. Then, when you get comfortable with them, you can invest in some sketch markers.
