I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS GAME TO COME TO EU/NA FOR 2 FRICKIN YEARS AND FINALLY THEY ARE RELEASING ALPHA KEYS IN A GIVEAWAY!!!! LIKE LITERALLY IT JUST HAPPENED!!!!! If you do not know what Black Desert Online is you need to check it out! It is probably the mmorpg I have been searching my life to find! (I was never too big a fan of WOW X'D ) It is extremely immersive and has the best character creation of any game I have ever seen! You can go so in depth with it you can actually change the pupils of each eye and change hair length and shape! I mean, look at this:

Everything is on here including classes (I am thinking of starting as either a Kunoichi or a Witch) and even though the classes are gender locked they are coming out with complimentary classes (witch/wizard, kunoichi/ninja, warrior/valkyrie)
The information is not all there though since I believe this site opened 5 days ago but they are quickly filling everything in.
Truly, if you have been searching for a game to play, this is the one!

I KNOW!! I signed up the second I got the e-mail that it was available! I almost cried I have waited so long for it (and i am at college right now so that would've been weird)

I am so excited too because since the new site like just came out I was expecting to wait another month or so for the Alpha Key to be available!

UHGG Right!!? I actually was willing to just download the character creation on its own at one point (though I knew it wasn't possible lul)! It's okay if I got to wait for the game but LET ME PLAY WITH THE PRETTY CHARACTERS! I know! I am totally yelling at my dad through text to hurry up home and apply XD I just love how much thought and effort has gone into the making of this game, and even though it may be lacking in more of a pve gameplay I am actually more a crafting/trading gamer so that really doesn't affect me so much~ I am also really glad to find someone who is just as obsessed with the game as I am x3 If we both get keys we should play on the same server!
And do you know how this giveaway will work? Is it like the first 2k people who apply get in (I know it will be more) or is it just completely random? (I am kinda hoping Ill get in with better chance cause I donated 5 pounds, even though I know that isn't much XDD )

Idk it is just the alpha so prob not too many people. When they do beta it'll be easier to get in. I wonder if they will be surprised by how many people are signing up for alpha lol! Open even more slots sooner maybe >

Awesome! I am just so anxious to see if I am able to get in ^^ and if not I really hope beta comes very soon afterwards, seeing as to how much effort they are putting into the game I honestly don't see beta being too far after! Plus it'll be the first game I've ever gotten into alpha~
Ive been checking out the site /in between crashes/ and am seeing that there are some ways to increase your chance at being selected for alpha. It says promoting it would be good, which is nice since I didn't realize that before this journal, and later I'll see if there are other ways to help my chances as well!
It would be awesome if we both got keys since I usually play games solo since I never expect to stick with them for too long, but this is the game in which I hope to dedicate my life to XD and many of my future adopts will go towards getting really nice cosmetics in game~

Yeah I'll let you know! So far it looks like just getting the word out will help. But I don't really have any social media sites besides this mainly because I never really could get into them. It may be time to try again though!
Itll be a lot of fun to actually play with someone though so I do hope we'll both get in~ I'll probably play on the Valencia server but I'll let you know! I'll be sure tell you about it if you don't get in though, so long as you do the same for me

I actually havent been playing very many games recently because I didnt want to get too invested in anything before this game, but I played Archeage for a few months.
I started playing it a few months after the mass exodus and it seemed like it had picked up a bit again but didnt stick around for more than 2-3 months after starting.
Originally I was thinking I would either play as a witch or a kunoichi, but as of now I am pretty dead set on choosing kunoichi ^^ It seems like it would be a very fun fast-paced class to start. And even though it says it is a more difficult starting class, I used to be a healer on a lot of other games and I think I can totally deal with that pressure XD (Healers dont get enough credit, but man I am pretty adept at it) and I have played other assassin-like classes before and this one seems like it will be a fun new spin on it~

Yeah I played WoW a couple years ago because my friends bought me a month subscription for my bday and I was also very unimpressed and actually taken aback by the graphics of a game that is so highly praised. I didnt play any longer than that month though XD Games like that as well, it is so hard for new players to join since almost everyone on there is experienced and/or alts so I really couldn't acclimate
