i really like this one. the composition is great and the lighting is interesting.. the only thing that kind of bothers me (only a little) is the wall on the left side. or, the big black thing that cuts off. other than that, its really really good. i love how the powerlines at the top kind of bring you from the foreground to the back of the image into wherever it goes.

thanks! as for the black looming wall, i agree. but unless i learn to fly, i cant get around it, my porch is very small and im on the second floor
i am going to try taking this series again though, with my good film camera (instead of the little digital...this was just sort of a concept)

I love it, it reminds me of my childhood. I grew up on the Navajo Reservation and we use to have these events that would go on and at night, we'd be out in the middle of nowhere having these events, so the people wuold bring here colemen lanterns and gnerators for light and electrcity. and that's how it would look. it's a nice memory, thanks for the memory trip.

thanks. it was just sort of a 'conceptual' idea shot with a small digital, i like the results so i'll probably shoot it on film with one of my better cameras.

thats kind of a creepy thought, but i like this, its very interesting to look at and the colors in the lighting are beautiful.
