Yeah, you can't kill off a popular and well-known character like that. Same thing happened when PC Bellamy got shot in Heartbeat, never expected that or even saw it coming, because he was one of the main characters...
Still, you can't really carry on the series, or even the legacy of the TMNT without Master Splinter. That's like trying to carry on TTTE without Sir Topham Hatt, or BMFM without their bikes...

I heard about this but was hoping it wouldn't come
Stupid Shredder.Β I can understand him letting the entire world burn except for Karai.Β I'd have thought he loved her because she was Tang Shen's daughter but I guess he just wanted to possess her the way he never could possess her mother.

This was the best episode of season 3 finale but it was sad to see Splinters death..Β

Poor Splinter....I loved the episode but still.....poor Sensei...I bet the older boys feel regret that they didn't stop him from making a deal with Shredder....much less went for the machine first them Mike. (Not that I blame them...Mikey's been in hot water lately...and Leo's been acting super protective of him since attack of mega shredder.) Plus for all we know the last thing Leo Raph and Don did was argue with their dad.
And Mikey...he never got a chance to see him since his kidnapping. Poor baby.
