yeah... only got these two done so far... not really sure if I want to do the other cuz my fingers are in so much pain right now. SO who knows.. If I do do the rest it may be awhile before they'r done. I was lookin' at alot of Carlos D'anda work (Outsiders) so his style is kinda what inspired me. Love his work. It's so dynamic that it just simply rocks. So, hope ya likes it. I think I'm gettin better... but that could also be because I might have been trying this time.
PS. I was gonna do blue on Robin instead of red for the whole Nightwing thing but I want them to have their own colour sceme thing and Raaven got the blue so Dicky was out of luck. 'Sides, Red aint bad.

Hmm the red reminds me of what Dick was wearing for the time period he was working for Deathstroke and training his Daughter Rose. For those who don't know Deathstroke = Slade (god I prayed the real would show up and kill the fake on the show, Oh well I await to see him working with the titans again to protect his son Jericho)
Anyway great rendition of that suit even if you didn't mean to do it. I like Raven's look to.

Really dig Robin. You gave that costume a nice sleek look to it. Raven.....not so much. Looks way too much like civilian gear rather than a hero costume. But that's just one guy's opinion... Cool art. Keep it up.

Heh, Raven does look like she'd work well with the Outsiders there. Interesting take on her.
Robin's costume reminds me of the one from "Batman&Robin"..without the metallic nipples, of course. And a lot cooler. Actually, it also kind of looks like his "Renegade" suit from the current Nightwing series (It looks like his regular costume, except with red instead of blue, and a half-cowl instead of an eyemask).
Nice gallery, too.

Excellent job, but I still think Robin needs his R logo of some kind or a stylized bird. The ripped shirt for Rae doesn't fit with the whole superhero costume thing.

Interesting. However their torsos look a bit long in comparison to their legs, or at least Raven's does. And since Raven is a girl, she needs to have bigger hips than Robin.

She probably is more feminine but I just had to do it like this. Don't know why. I guess cuz I compare her to her comic counterpart wich is quite a bit more feminine than the cartoon so I see the cartoon more tomboyish. I don't know. It's also cuz I wanted to give her that hair and the suit goes more with it.
I don't get it. everyone I know personally can draw women batter than men but I just can't. It's weird, considering I am a girl, at least I was the last time I checked but I can't draw women to save my life. but then again when I first started drawing I only ever drew werewolves so that might have something to do with it.
