I can see where she is coming from, as a Grass type trainer I know a lot about their weaknesses and strengths.
I agree that it would be best for her to stay behind, last thing they need is to worry about a forth member that would have too hard a time fighting steel types and others.
Still, she could give them some of those Sleep bombs, that can come very handy (pawy?)
anyway, I hope to see her rejoining the group, if for nothing else because of my love of Grass types (Leafeon fighting for the #1 spot with Superior)

Same thing for Popplio. It's Evolution Designs are Horrible for me and I Don't care about them but Popplio is Adorable and I Kept her that way until the End of the Game which means I Had a Level 95 Unevolved Popplio by the end of my Adventures in Alola!~ >u<

Very good. The likes of Luxray and Bisharp (120 and 125, respectively) tend to have the adjective of ‘whopping’.

Make sure to not get hit by special attacks though. The low special defense makes fire and ice types particularly worrysome.
