lol worst tutorial I've ever looked through. Doesn't give any indication of how to go about doing the specific (important) things.
It's like making a tutorial on building a computer or something by going: I built this computer by going to Amazon and buying all the needed parts. I connected them using wires to the motherboard.
So vague and unhelpful.

Efectivamente, ese era el problema.
El caso es que llevo 2 dias con el Cinema, y me a costado hacer los primeros pasos (desagrupar las letras, poner el texto en 3D...)
El problema que tengo ahora es el tema de los materiales. No tengo ni idea de cuales has aplicado y como.
ΒΏNo tendras el archivo del Cinema 4D para pasarmelo? O si no, ΒΏ puedes concretarme la parte de los materiales?
El los otros programas no tengo problema, pero ya te digo que el Cinema me los intale expresamente para este tutorial...

Sabes, soy informatico, pero en el mundo del diseΓ±o grafico llevo muy poco. Me he estado haciendo muchos tutoriales por internet, y de todos los que he visto, este es el mas impresionante. Mis felicitaciones!!!
Me he animado a intentar hacerlo, pero tengo un problema, y me preguntaba si me podrias ayudar:
Tras hacer las letras en Illustrator (version CS), las exporto con la opcion Illustrator Legacy, eligiendo la opcion Illustrator 8, pero al habrirlas con el Cinema 4D, no me aparece nada. Despues de de pensarlo mucho, les aplique el efecto 3D de Estrusion y Biselado en el mismo Illustrator, y al guardar con los parametros anteriores y abrirlo con el Cinema 4D, ya me aparece algo, pero solo es el contorno de las letras en blanco, y no me respeta las capas (o como quieran que se llamen en este programa), ya que me pasa de 7 del Illustrator a mas de un centenar en el Cinema. La palabra me sale literalmente en 2D (se ve al girar el modelo) y sin ningun tipo de textura. Tambien me sale en una posicion muy alta en el editor (tengo que desplazarme hacia arriba)(lo digo por si es relevante).
Te agradeceria enormemente que me hecharas una mano, ya que tu diseΓ±o me encanta. Hay algunos programas de diseΓ±o que ya voy manejando bien, pero lo cierto es que el Cinema 4D me lo instale para este titular (por cierto, tengo la version R10 portable, es decir, instalada en un Pen Drive), por lo que igual estoy cometiendo un fallo basico.

Hola q tal, bueno la verdad que el unico problema que tienes es que antes de guardar tu text debes convertirlo en curvas o en outlines, y salvar en la version 8 de illustrator, luego abrirlo en cinema y bueno es normal q el text aparesca en la parte superior del viewport pero la puedes bajar utilizando las flechas de direccion, espero puedas lograr el tut, y cualkier cosa me muestras lo q has hecho.

u need to change your text to outline first before go to cinema, I dont know french sorry

Unfortunately, I couldn't do it. I could make outlines and I could open in Cinema 4D, but when I click on Extrude NURBS at each character, it doesn't do anything, just the main point goes to 0,0. What should I do? I don't know this program, please, could somebody explain me what to do after I opened it in Cinema 4D? (I saved the Illustrator file in good version.)
