I know I'm bound to get tarred for me constantly bringing the subject up, but someone has to shine a bigger light on what's wrong with the animation community. I'll spare you my Twitter spastics and just concentrate on one big deal.

This guy, one of those POSITIVITAH types, is indirectly encouraging the creation of a toxic fanbase, or is willing to let it happen.

I believe the fanbase's persistence will make something inevitably turn up

When you give a fandom an inch, they take a mile. This is basically saying "I hope the fans will keep hemorrhaging the network and writers to get us further along with this show." Every show like Infinity Train or Steven Universe has a toxic fanbase born through their passion for the show, they just carry on differently, but the toxic element is the same.

We get things like entitlement, pretentiousness, even some people are bound to get hit in the crossfire. Just because it doesn't happen instantly, that doesn't mean it won't happen at all.

There're times where I misread what someone means, but this is a pretty sharp implication. If it's not what I say, he's basically cool with the persistence, even if it may gradually turn toxic.

And yeah, this goes to show how bad positivity could be.
