May I present you *drum roll* Nox, the new design of Frozen Heart!

And I stop you right there before you think "What? But that's awful! A perfectly good stryx design going to waste and replaced by this ugly thing! What have you done!!" *Ahem*. Let me explain myself, and also answer to your probable question "Why is there a second design?"

First things first: For the past few months school has been my only priority and still is today, so everything I post these days is school-related. Since I am lucky enough to be in an animation and game art school, we got to learn many cool things and do 2 projects. One of these projects was "Dreams and Nightmares". In this project, we had to create a character and a creature as well as a magical universe. At that time I already had in mind a story for Frozen Heart, but taking a dracostryx as the creature was out of the question for me. I wanted to create my own design. Hence "Nox" was born: a black and more canine creature walking on four paws and wingless. The only thing that remained was its icy floating spikes because I loooooove it!! Now, this character IS STILL Frozen Heart, even though they now go with the name "Nox" and they have the particularity to have two different designs: the black one and the blue one. The blue one will be the "stryx design" with wings, etc... while the black one will be the non-stryx design. Why making 2 designs you'd ask? One will permit me to be in the awesome stryx community and still play the game with Frozen Heart, while the other one will let me be freer to explore new possibilities and most important: to fully own my character u-u

So now you'll know why sometimes I'll draw Nox blue and sometimes black xD Oh and also, still not very good at drawing ice
