NARF. Due to (not so) popular demand (as in the fact, I'm bored here with nothing to do), I've knocked together my own version of a Sonic Adventure style tutorial. Before you view this one, go view Mie's version. Then luff her cos she rocks. While her's was based upon colouring in Sonic, mine is geared toward Amy. Joy.Anyway, this is in the form of a zip file (as my uni tutors are slightly annoyed at the amount of bandwidth my Sonic Battle tutorial is taking)...so you'll need Winzip or something to view this. Also, make sure you extract it all to it's own folder, or the images won't work. To download, click the downward arrow next to the faves button. And click that too while you're at it.

Because Deviantart fails, my university mirror closed since I graduated 3 years ago, and my original files are sitting on my desktop PC in England while I now live in Osaka.
I cannot be bothered to put myself out to reupload, sadly. The method I used for said tutorial is crap and outdated now.

Awsome tutorial CK! There were a few techniques you showed that I need to try out. Thanks for the heads up!. Oh and yes, the "Humor Injetion" that Themie mentioned helped to keep focus.

How awesome ^.^! I found it so fascinating.. even though I'll never color Sonic Adventure style xD I'm happy with my own way.. but yes ;.; It's fun to see the many ways you can pull the style off.. it looks challenging to me xD It came out great, though! Hooray for using Amy ;.; I bet woulda screeched like a bloody fangirl if it was Miles, though xD But hooray for Amy nonetheless.
So yes.. great job on this!

I did read some of your tutorials. On the inking part the lines part, you did use a polygonal lasso tool and then modify the selection in different shape. I usually tend to use the pen tool a lot better and pretty easy for me to make a path and using the selected path into a selection just like when I tend to the the Mysterious Ship drawing with some paths [link]
I hope this doesn't sound too advance for you people who are in the middle of doing the tutorials because I know how to use the paths and the pen tool.
