It's that time of the year again. Although this year hasn't been the best, it still had it's ups, ESPECIALLY in terms of the anime and manga I read/watched. So without further adieu, My Top 10 characters of 2016!

10. Satou (Ajin)

9. Hoshino"Peco"Yutaka (Ping Pong)

8. Chiaki Nanami (Dangan Ronpa)

7. Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama (Mob Psycho 100)

6. Alita (Battle Angel Alita)

5. All Might (My Hero Acadmia)

I like All Might so much! He's a different spin to how your everyday super hero acts. I like that he's this big symbol of peace to the people but in reality he's really just a shell of his former self trying to keep this image in order to inspire people. It take's real guts to reveal your darkest secret to your biggest fan. Not only that, the dude's BAD ASS! I was super impressed after his fight against Noumu. That Plus Ultra had me wild af! I'm not caught up as of yet but if All might's capable of greater feats after THAT then this series is gonna be a ride!

4. Yoshikage Kira (Jojo Bizarre Adventure)

I had a tough time deciding between Josuke and Kira but in the end you ALL already know how much I like Josuke and It'd be crazy for me not to put Kira on this list. The thing I like about Kira is that he's not your standard shonen villain. He's make's it his business NOT to stand out. He's not going outta his way to cause trouble for the protagonist, he doesn't want a challenge and he doesn't wanna rule the world. Yoshikage Kira just wants a quiet plant-like life. But what makes him my favorite is the lengths he's willing to go to maintain his peace. The thing about Kira is that as long as you leave him be he won't bother anyone but if you find out about his "hobby" he's gonna blow you up.

3. Sanji (One Piece)
Come on Oda! Give my dude a break! This arc has been an emotional roller coaster ride. I put Sanji because I got to see a different side of him than I usually do. I'm so use to Sanji being one of the stronger members of the crew so when I see him in such a vulnerable state, it's actually really heart wrenching to see. I especially lost it when I saw him go against luffy. I know Sanji's in deep shit right now but I KNOW he's gonna do some crazy stuff in the coming year.

2. Sinbad (Magi)

THIS guy is something else. THIS guy literally challenged GOD and WON! Not only that but he BECAME god and he's manipulating the whole world into committing mass suicide. JEEZ! I've said for YEARS Sinbad a villain in disguise but DAMN! He was really clever at the beginning and he chose his words carefully whenever he spoke but I always thought it was weird that he was always giving people the run around with goals. I mean yeah, Kouen was a dick but at least I knew what I was getting myself into with him. I just curious to see how Aladdin and Alibaba are gonna take him. I mean even WITH Judal and Hakuryuu, it's still gonna be near impossible. Cuz right now, Sin's making Arba look like a joke and she was the biggest threat thus far.

1. Hisoka Morow (Hunter x Hunter)

MY GOD! Togashi may have only release 12 chapters this year but DAMN! I can't even complain about them. Not only did I get to see Hisoka again but I also got to see him go against Chrollo in a full on fight(a fight that has been hyped for YEARS!). You'd think THAT alone would earn him 1st place but that's just the frosting on the cake. The aftermath of this battle is what got me fanboying for days. This guy LITERALLY died at the hands of Chrollo and just when you think Hisoka is no more, He resurrects himself with his NEN! But that's not even the kicker! He makes a declaration to kill off all the members of the Phantom Troupe and kills off 2 off them that same chapter!(R.I.P Shalnark and Kortopi).
Y'all don't understand the potential of this. We already have the Dark continent expedition underway with Kurapika and the Zodiacs. But NOW you got Chrollo and Troupe planning to sneak on board that ship and steal everything (which is a conflict in itself due to Kurapika's hate towards them) and on top of that you KNOW Hisoka is gonna follow them aboard that ship. I dunno what the HELL's gonna down but with all these people in one place chaos is sure to unfold in 2017 (IF Togashi decides to come back).
