Description
This is a sextuple variant of the 25 mm type 96 mod 1 or mod 2.

The mounting is designed that way to reduce required area of placement.

Mod 2 is an upgraded and modifed version of mod 1. Mod 2 is designed to solve all the problems that the mod 1 faced. Installed with a special loading mechanism and equipment to improve fire rate, a better recoil mechanism to reduce viration, a electronically and hydrau-pneumatically powered mount system for the heavier and multi gun mount to improve traverse and elevation, and a complete redesign of the mount and gun mechanism itself to reduce weight. And magazine was redesigned with bigger capacity, to increase fire rate.

The type 5(or mod 4?)uses a new gun barrel but with the same but little bit different mechanism of type 96 mod 3. The type 5 can shoot faster, further and even more precise, increasing the effective firing range, rivalling the 40mm bofors in performance.
