“Sickness . . .” Isabel, the Boogiepop Witch, whispered as her friend stood before her in the dark apartment. Sickness’ azure eyes filled with a hidden emotion. Isabel licked her lips. “Stay awhile. You can’t run forever.”“We might regret this.” Sickness placed a hand on Isabel’s arm.
“I don’t care. You’re innocent. You didn’t kill H-”
“Shh . . . I’ll stay till dawn.”
“That’s not fair.”
“Then this kiss will be fair.” With that, Sickness embraced the younger woman and kissed her softly.
