I actually did this out of boredom, and because a random idea popped into my head. It's pretty simple - just a bunch of colorized layers faded into each other with the eraser brush. It took about 15 minutes, give or take.Credits:

Fifteen minutes? Hey, the simple stuff is usually some of the best stuff. Plus, the effect looks a lot more complex than that. I ended up embedding it in a blog post called "The Valentine's Day Massacre." The link to the main blog is in my signature if you want to have a look.
